Note that all new characters need to be approved by an administrator or moderator before Role-Playing is allowed.


Name: Your character's name. You should try to make this an interesting name that reflects your characters personality.

Age: How old is your character? He can be as old or young as you like, really. Just nothing ridiculous, like a human that was born before humans evolved. The recomended age would be above sixteen but below forty for your first character, to get you used to the role-playing here at the Nether. On your second character, you could do any age you like.

Height: Your characters height, in feet and inches please. Please keep this sensible and proportionate. No 9"6 tall five year olds. Also, keep it sensible with races. A human couldn't be really really tall, and a troll couldn't be really really short.

Build: What build is your character? Is he short and fat? Tall and thin? Muscled or not? You should write quite a lot in this section, to let people know what your character is like. Don't have immensely muscled four year olds or something ridiculous please. Ridiculous figures would need very good justification to get approved...

Power: Do your characters have any special powers? Magical or otherwise? How often does he use this power? How good is he with it? How did he gain it? You should make this category as detailed as possible. Any major skills would come under this category as well. For example, accuracy with a bow counts as a power. If this is not included as a power it will be assumed your character is fairly average with a bow. At level one, you get one power, at level two, you get two powers, at level three you get three, and so on and so forth. You get a maximum of seven powers. Once you get past level seven, you don't gain powers but your old powers get a lot stronger.

Looks: What does your character look like? This should be the most detailed category. Add anything you can. Does your character have long or short hair? What colour? What's his/her skin tone? Eye colour? You can never be too detailed. Don't be afraid to add in tiny little details. Even the thickness/thinness of eyebrows would add up to make a good description. For the love of everyone on this board, do not just paste a picture in here...

History: This should be the second most detailed category, the first being looks. Where was your character born? What were his/her parents like? Are any of his/her family still alive? Add in anything you can think of, at all. As your character progresses in the city, you can add to this.

Race: Write what race they are here. Use this topic. You can only have a race that corresponds with your level. The more you post, the more you level. The more you level, the better your characters.

Religion: What religion does your character follow? There are many gods in the Nether, and each one is worshipped differently. You could worship more than one god as well, or ignore them all. You have to believe in them though, their influence on the world is too great for anyone to say they don't exist.

Friends: Your character probably wont have any friends when they first come to the Nether, however they'll make some along the way. List those friends here.

Weapons: What weapons do your characters have? Bear in mind, the Nether is set in the future, after a demon induced apocalypse. Barely any technology survived. Most people use swords, axes, spears and the like. Some people are lucky enough to get firearms. Remember, the most advanced you could get is a rifle. No plasma firing tanks or anything.
