The girl backed up into the corner of the square and screamed but one of the men put there hands over her mouth. It was midnight and these men were obviously pedophiles. Kim stood there eyes wide with fear, but in her mind she knew what would happen they would all die. Kim kept up her act and lashed out at one of them he slapped her across the cheek and Kim faltered hitting her head upon the wall. She was bleediing heavily now and couldn't wait longer she needed something for her head. She breathed in heavily then puffed out, lighting up the square now the men screamed, they were on fire. Kim transformed into her normal form and picked the nearest up by the neck, he was badly burnt already but the dragon was impervious to the heat. Kim crushed his neck and killed him instantly while the rest of them burnt and screamed, Kim watched smiling, ready for a meal.

Lycara appeared, having come to investigate the fire and the screaming. She grinned as she saw Kim in her dragon form, surrounded by burning men, and nodded to her. After all, Lycara knew that men who wandered around in gangs at this time of the night seldom had good intentions. Lycara looked around, noting the blood around Kim, coming from the one with his head ripped off. Looking at the corpses, Lycara only just noticed the scent coming off of them, it seemed Kim was going to enjoy dinner. Lycara walked out to stand by Kim

"How's it going?" She asked the Dragonkin.

The dragonkin kept one eye on Lycara while biting into a mans arm. Kim had not ate so well in a long time. She didn't particularly like eating humans but these ones had bad intentions and they deserved it. As the dragonkin pulled her head back she licked the blood up from around them, then faced Lycara, "I am fine thank you, these thought they would take advantage of me, well when I was in my human form." Kim reached out grabbing another human and ripping his leg off.

Lycara nodded, and grinned. Girls like us often have to make examples of those who seek to use us, Lycara thought, after all, it was something she did often. She would have been tempted to ask whether she could join in for a bite, but she was quite full from a hunt in the wastelands, and there was no need to eat for quite a while. Instead, she looked at Kim

"Good to see that you dealt with them in style" Lycara said, still grinning.

Kim smiled, "It is the easiest way unless I am to transform but then they would run so I dealt with them in my normal method." She ripped another load of meat out from the humans leg with her sharp teeth. She liked the taste of human flesh too bad she didn't get to eat it that much.

"I guess that's true. I can hunt as either human or wolf, but I prefer the latter. It's a lot more fun as a wolf. Especially when hunting under the full moon." Lycara wondered how often a Dragon-Kin needed to eat, it certainly seemed that their metabolisms were vastly different from that of a human or a lycan.

"Hunting is not about the fun." Kim ripped some more meat and then tossed the skeleton aside, still with bits of flesh hanging off. Kim swung her head back and transformed into a human. There was blood around her mouth making her look extremely evil. She left her wings out though for a quick escape and had claws on the end of her fingers. She didn't like Lycara that much anymore.

"There are few other things to do in this city when the moon is full and my control wavers. Besides, I was raised in a family where hunting was the equivalent of family bonding, like dinner together, though in this case more literally. So, any more information on Sid?" Lycara asked, becoming distracted once again as she thought back to the Vampire.

Kim snorted, "almost got him, almost killed him damit he got away though." Kim glared at the body of a man and kicked it across the court to hit the wall on the other side. She flexed her wings out at there full extent showing off her majesty.

Lycara gripped the other girl's shoulder. "There's always next time for two people like us." Which was true enough, from what she had heard about the vast lives of Dragonkin, and her own eternal youth. The question was not if, but when they would meet Sid again.

Kim stepped back as Lycara touched her shoulder then apologised. She did not like other people touching her anymore, especially not a werewolf. She had heard many things about them, they could loose control and attack people and stories like that. She did not want one touching her especially not when she was in human form it was more offending. Kim grunted and carried on glaring at the floor, she had been filled with hatred lately and it was making her even hate her own friends to some extent, "sorry, there hasn't been much vampires that escaped me yet and this Sid fills me with hatred." She kicked another body but the opposite direction taking her anger out on it.

Lycara nodded "Alright. I haven't turned up any leads either, despite knowing that Sid had killed Lucien. I'm going to look for another associate who might be able to help us track Sid down. He's a necromancer named Darian. Want to come with me?"

"Only under one condition, I get to kill Sid myself once we find him, if I fail then you can kill him." She glared, she needed them to accept she was a rubbish tracker but a good fighter. She would not let anyone else quell her vengeance against the vampire.

"Agreed." was all Lycara said, as she started down the misty road, following the faint scent the Necromancer had left behind on the piece of her robe she had taken from the battle at the Graveyard in case she ever needed to find Darian again. Surely enough, a faint scent came over from the Coven Arcanium. "Let's go." Lycara said, as she began a fast run, though still in her human form, down the street.

Kim spread her wings out and leapt into the air, flapping her wings very slowly to fly at her pace. She did not need to beat them fast as they were built to make a 9 foot dragon fly so it was simple for them to make a 5 foot 16 year old girl fly. She turned her feet into dragon claws so she could land as soon as she needed too, using the claws to dig in to the ground at landing time it made it easier then having to slowly stop.
