If they're going to be involved in more than one topic, certainly. |

I personally hate using NPCs and I don't remember Sylviidae ever using any lol.
But as long as they are used RESPONSIBLY and the controller doesn't go wild I don't see a problem. I do think they would have to be counted as powers so that they can be regulated and kept track of however. |

Perhaps folks should be less uptight. A small band of cronies can easily be written in to pretty much any topic, without rules lawyering etc, so go with the flow? Add an OOC note if you're concerned that someone's gonna come out of nowhere all pew pew kaplowie but it really depends what the charachters are for... |

Well, that does help if I can manage to figure this all out. But first I need to be able to get another charactor. |

As I remember, most of Hakr's mutants actually count as his powers (and Leth let me have them long before I was a mod). After a few spats where people slaughtered my mutants like they were nothing more than annoying flies Leth ruled that the mutants were mine to control in the same manner as my characters, and that people couldn't kill them in their posts without my permission, same as characters. Funny... I lifted that for the current plot though, as Leth also said I could only have about 20 mutants per power, and I figured Hakr would need a lot more to take over the city, so all the excess ones are NPCs. |

Absoltutly nevermind. I just noticed at level five you're only allowed four charactors, not five. Sorry. |

I see. I shall have to rethink this new charactor. |

That's counted as other characters. You would need to either archive some old characters or go without. And, people with NPCs, like Sylviidae, Hakr or my own Dathorian Rane, belong to staff members, so thats why they get them.
So the only way ordinary members can get lackies is by making them as new characters. This is to stop people from getting overpowered, as it would get a bit boring if every single member commanded an entire army. |

Mayby if I explain why I would want to use them. I was planning on making another charactor who has 'lackys'. However I don't want these 'lackys' to be killed off like NPCs. But I don't know what the limits are on them. |

Noone really uses them anymore. The idea is that they are NPC characters that everyone uses, like shopkeepers etc. but the staff write their profiles for continuity issues. |
