Name: Professor Calhoun Latem

Age: He is really 29 but looks in his 70's.

Build: Very thin and very gaunt.

Power:
Warren of Metal: Calhoun Latem has an adept control over metal. He can manipulate it in any form he likes. He can shift it, heat it, cool it and much more. This has ran through Calhoun's family and has been what has made it wealthy over the years.

Copper Animation: Why this happens is unknown to Calhoun and was also unknown to his family. Calhoun can expand copper and reform it to make a small creature. These creatures look like imps and are not strong. They are used as servants to help him. They are farely easy to destroy but are quite heavy and as such can way down Calhoun's attackers. He can create up to 5 a time and are easy to make, 10 2p coins would be enough to make one and as such he carries more then enough to make 5. He can at any time reform them and change what they look like. The creatures are about 3 foot in height.

Steel Animation: This is another abnormal power Calhoun has gained. He is able to expand steel and reform it to make a large creature. This creature is used to defend him. The creature is quite hard to destroy, and extremely heavy. The creature is also extremely slow. Only one can be created at a time and once destroyed the steel used in the creation is melted and not able to be re-used to build another (Calhoun has to find more steel, 1 per thread basically). The creature is about 5 foot in height. Magic has much more of an effect on the steel animation then anything else, basic offensive magic can have devastating effects on the animation, basic offensive magic will kill the animation with a few blasts.

Diseased and weak: Professor Calhoun Latem has an disease that makes him extremely physically weak. His bones are extremely brittle and will break even from a basic punch. This also makes Calhoun look about double his real age. This was only noticeable from the age of 21 where he looked in his 30s and then it only got worse.

Looks: Professor Calhoun Latem is not that tall. He is very thin and looks very old considering his real age. He has grey hair a couple of inches long and stands quite hunched over. He wears a lab coat and black trousers normally and has all forms of metals in his pockets. In one pouch on his left he has a load of copper pennies and in his left he has small steel rods, just enough to make a steel animation.

History:
Professor Calhoun Latem was born to wealthy parents. His father was a blacksmith who could also control metal and his mother did not have a job. His father taught Calhoun the tricks of the trade from a young age and taught him to control and manipulate metal. At the age of 16 it was realised that Calhoun had greater power over metal then his father, he started creating "animations" Out of copper and steel. Calhoun's father was hoping that he would carry on the trade of being a blacksmith but Calhoun became a professor. By the age of 21 the disease he had was becoming noticeable. He eventually started working on trying to find a cure. None of them succeeded and even the doctors did not know what was wrong with him. The only cure they had to offer was vampirism and he turned it down and never returned to the hospital. Calhoun was proud to be human. He moved to the nether in hope of a form of magic that would be able to help him. He made small money by creating blades and weapons and selling them.

It's good :) Original I think. I'd ask for you to go through it quick cause you've made a few mistakes (Like at one second, the steel animation is steel, then silver, then back to steel etc.) but other than that approved ^_^

Also I don't think that there is a Warren of metal. Would be very interesting though, I'll talk to other staff members and we'll write something up for you.
