Title: Manners
Description: open
Freya - January 3, 2010 06:56 AM (GMT)
"Let's try this one more time." She grumbled, her patience wearing precariously thin. "If you see a person it doesn't in any way mean that you're entitled to eat them." The vampire glared at the two halfbreeds, who just tilted their heads in response. She was positive that they hadn't understood. She trailed her fingers through the water in the fountain, trying to find patience. "Teaching you guys manners is harder then I expected." She sighed irritably. She'd picked up the first of the two bloodbeasts a while back, it had come to know a few more of her rules, and she was pleased to note that unlike the second one, it no longer leapt on any living thing it saw. That wasn't to say it didn't want to. And she'd noticed they only had that much self restraint when she was around to control them. She was like the pack leader of a bunch of rabid wolves.
The second halfbreed stared at her, unblinking eyes trying to understand what to it, was incomprehensible. "I know, I know, it's not your fault." She sighed, leaning against the edge of the fountain. "I shouldn't expect too much from you but -" Her sentence was abruptly cut off when both the bloodbeasts snarled in perfect unision, heads turned away from her to see something she had yet to spot, or smell. "Stay." She commanded forcefully, the first seemed to understand, but she wasn't so sure about the second, younger one. She wondered who they'd smelt, it could be anyone, any human would make them react in this way. Afterall, they hadn't eaten since the night before, and to them that was a while ago. There was a high chance they'd just pass by without even spotting the vampire and her two halfbreeds. She crossed her fingers, hoping that whoever it was didn't come any closer, she didn't have that much control over the bloodbeasts.
Hasier - January 3, 2010 12:16 PM (GMT)
Them again. Hasier remembered these three the last night they were here. He was triing to break into a groceries shop. He was running low on food. If it wasn't for those creatures he would have eaten in the last two days. As it is he's half starved and on the warpath, again. Hasier rised his rifle. Aiming at the knee of the most over eager beast. Slowly he pulled the trigger back. But only to the point that a flinch would fire the weapon. For the mean time he would wait, motionless and a not even a sillouette in sight.
Freya - January 4, 2010 01:17 AM (GMT)
The halfbreeds started moving around a bit more frantically, as though they smelt something more dangerous then a mere human, or they may have sensed it. Did mutants have a sixth sense? She sighed, staring at their grossly deformed faces, trying to determine what it was that had made them so restless. They both glanced over their shoulders, staring at something she couldn't see, hear or smell. "What?" She asked softly, following their gazes, trying to figure out what they saw. Maybe she had taught them too well, they were unwilling to attack whatever he, she or it was. And maybe whoever - or whatever - it was, meant them harm. Maybe it was a loyalty to their progenitor that kept them back. The younger was obviously more eager to throw itself into a brawl. The older seemed more concerned with staying next to her. At least it had priorities, she thought miserably.
"Who is it?" She called quietly, trying to seperate shadows from what she thought was a shape, not an easy task when every shadow looked like its own being. For all she knew there could be many people around her. But her halfbreeds would have gone nuts if there was, they weren't so well trained that she could order them to restrain themselves when given such an opportunity for a large meal.
Lilith - January 13, 2010 04:48 PM (GMT)
Lilith lay above the building next to those...things, Freya had taken a responsibility to. She grinned as Freya tried to 'train' them. Why bother? Why not just let them run free and 'cause some good ol' havoc? But then, Lilith and Freya didn't tend to see....eye-to-eye. She stiffened as they starting to growl. They couldn't of noticed her, she was downwind to them, and out of site in the shadows.
Whoever it was hopefully had a weapon, and one they could use at that, the amount of people who have a weapon with no training is surprising. She sat up, a sliver of Moonlight the only thing exposing a fraction of her pale face. These weird things were obviously hungry, she herself hadn't feasted in a day or two, she had been tracking Freya and these things. For once Freya didn't spot her, usually however well she hid, Freya seemed to be able to point her out, even when others couldn't.
She resisted the urge to laugh as Freya tried to calm down the stupid monsters, they to eager to accept her demands. The last time they had met..wait. Edit. The last few times they had met, it had turned straight into a fight, with Lilith usually purposefully starting it. Being downwind was good for stealth purposes, but to a vampires delicate sense of smell? Horrible, those 'things' were just plain disgusting.
Lilith had her sword in her hand next to her, she could just do it now, kill one, set the other loose, and watch gleefully at the chaos that would unfold. But she had to wait, to see if whoever they had noticed was the worth the bother of killing or not.
Freya - January 15, 2010 11:59 AM (GMT)
Freya twitched, she couldn't shake the feeling she was being watched. Carefully she scanned the area, unable to locate the origin of her uneasiness. The halfbreeds glanced around, seeming torn between two options.
She closed her eyes for a moment, an image appearing behind her closed eyelids. Purple hair... Blood. Her eyes snapped open. How many people did she know with purple hair? She frowned, and turned her gaze to the rooftops, Lilith liked heights - she knew that much. "Lilith?" She called quietly, it was very probably that her vision wasn't about the near future but in a few days or weeks time. But there was no harm in taking precautions.
The two halfbreeds shifted uneasily, sniffing the air experimentally. They turned their bloodshot eyes to their creator, uncertain about the scents. "Stay with me," She ordered, unsure whether they understood the command or not. Regardless, they stayed beside her, shifting restlessly. That wasn't the least bit comforting.
Lilith - January 15, 2010 12:17 PM (GMT)
Lilith grinned, Freya could sense her, and she had forgotten about that 'future-seeing' ability Freya had used accidentally at random times. "Freya, how are you?" She asked plainly as she jumped her way down the building, making sure not to break any bones.
Lilith looked in mock disgust at the creatures Freya had with her, curious. "What the hell are those....things? Please don't tell me your starting a fan club for misfits like yourself." She looked around, how did these things even come into existence? From the wastelands? Although not even the wastelands have creatures like this...
She walked towards Freya, cautiously holding her sword. "These things are even more disgusting than you Freya, and that's saying something." She continued to walk, they were growling at her, but she doubted they could even hurt her. Mere weaklings, not deserving to live, let alone exist in the first place.
OOC: Boring post I know sorry
Freya - January 15, 2010 12:23 PM (GMT)
"Nice to see you again, as well. It's been a while," She said, keeping her tone level and polite. "Any mass genocide I might want to know about?" She smiled, though her eyes were angry. How dare the vampire insult her, Lilith was like a mere toddler still trying to come to terms with her own feet compared to how long Freya'd had to get used to the world. Or maybe saying she was a delinquent teenager would be closer to the truth. "Why did you have to show up now? Worried I might be starting to get happy? You couldn't let that happen now, could you," She laughed harshly. "Don't worry, there's no danger of that."
The halfbreed made a growling sound in the back of it's throat, staring at Lilith with cold, animalistic eyes. "Would you like to meet my companions? You should show them more respect, they're more intelligent than you," She goaded. So what if her 'friend' wanted a fight, she was getting out of practice. She was feeling abnormally pissed off at the girl, Lilith reminded her so much of Cielia, who had attacked her and Tomas and very nearly killed both of them.
Lilith - January 15, 2010 12:38 PM (GMT)
"More intelligent? I highly doubt that. What are they? As far as I can see, thick, useless chunks of meat." She had heard Freya's earlier comment also, " And I want nothing more than for you to be horribly, horribly disturbed and so much more messed up than you are now." She pointed her sword at the smaller halfbreed, it would be the one she killed, she could distract the simple-minded Freya while the other went loose, creating havoc with each pityfull human it destroyed.
She lifted her sword, and brang it down, going straight for the creatures head.
OOC: SHANANIGANS!
Freya - January 15, 2010 12:50 PM (GMT)
"N-" She didn't have time to complete her exclamation, because she leapt in the way of the sword. It cut through her shirt and flesh with inhuman ease, she'd underestimated Lilith's strength. The wound ran from the top of her right shoulder to her left hip. It was deep, like someone had just carved the grand canyon through her, she coughed, choking on blood. "You... fuck...ing..." She coughed again, falling to her knees grasping at her wound and trying to stem the blood. "Bitch..." She finished, staring at the blood in a dazed state. "How...?" She had never seen so much blood from her own body, how wasn't she dead? Weird shapes floated infront of her vision, grotesquely distorted faces leering at her. She squeezed her eyes shut, feeling as if hundreds of hands were tugging her down, stopping her from climbing to her feet. Her body was starting to go numb, her clothes and hair were soaked through with blood, how had that happened in such a short time?
The halfbreeds went mad. They started snarling, half leaping for Lilith, then flinching back at the last moment. Both seemed stricken at all the blood spewing from their progenitor. One growled, eying Lilith's sword uneasily. The second whimpered, it's uncomprehending eyes locked on Freya with what would appear to be concern. Somehow that whine broke through the vampire's personal world of pain. Her eyes flew open, she stared at the wound, as though she had forgotten it was there. "Go," she muttered, "Go!" Her voice wavered but managed to maintain it's imperious tone. The halfbreeds retreated a few steps, unsure whether to abandon their 'mother' whether she commanded it or not.
Lilith - January 15, 2010 01:10 PM (GMT)
Lilith let the stupid beasts run, they were slow at first, she nearly changed her mind. She dropped down to Freya, using her ability to slowly heal her. She herself hadn't noticed the force she had used, it was an exciting surprise.
She started on the wound, recently Lilith had been able to use a lot less power to heal, which meant she was getting better at it. She felt it almost stitch itself together, and starting on the blood regeneration.
A few minutes after, Freya had still lost a considerable amount of blood, she would be able to be consious and feel pain. The scar was there, still right across, Lilith had left it as a reminder to Freya.
She started with the torture, expanding blood cells until they exploded, in the left arm and right leg.
OOC: Is this ok?
Freya - January 15, 2010 01:16 PM (GMT)
OOC: Certainly... nice and painful  Oh, and just go nuts, I don't mind if you godmod at all, no killing, and uh, well have fun xD
Freya bit back a scream, she'd noticed recently she could tolerate pain better. "Go... die..." She muttered, through clenched teeth. Admittedly it wasn't one of her best insults, but it would have to do. She rolled onto her side, ignoring the searing pain that wracked her body. Her leg felt like someone had exploded some dynamite inside it, and her arm wasn't much of a nicer feeling. She wished that numbness would come back to her.
With a visible effort she tried to stand up, but only got as far as her knees before she collapses again. Sweat was beading on her face, vainly she tried to reach for her sword, only just managing to grasp the hilt weakly. Using all of her energy she rolled around and swung her sword, hoping to hell that it hit Lilith. Who'd have thought her best friend was her worst enemy?
Lilith - January 15, 2010 01:31 PM (GMT)
Lilith caught the sword as it came towards her, it was pathetically slow. She walked over to Freya, calling upon a ball of ice-like energy in her hand, and grabbed Freya's right arm. It started to freeze it, and Liltih stopped at the elbow, grinning happily, and almost innocently, if not for Freya's blood on her body and face from before.
She exploded more and more cells, being careful not to permenently damage Freya, apart from mentally. She sneered at Freya, "You deserve this punishement, and so does that stupid hunter boy. He's actually stupid enough to like you, and your stupid enough to think your a proper vampire".
OOC: Getting carried away...crappily :P
Freya - January 15, 2010 01:45 PM (GMT)
"Believe me, I wish I wasn't a proper vampire and Tomas..." She trailed off, her expression instantly shuttering. "Tomas is nothing for you to be concerned about anymore," She grunted. He'd lost his memories afterall, and now didn't seem to pose a threat to the vampires. She ignored the stab of pain, how had he forgotten about her? It felt just a little bit like betrayal.
She tried to move her arm, the cold was starting to get to her. She moaned and tried to hop up, ignoring it when pain flared up all over her body. "Goddammit! You wimp, are you scared to fight me if I'm not pinned to the ground and mortally injured?" She tried to sound rebellious, but the pain showed through, making her voice sound thin and weak.
She squeezed her eyes shut, maybe if she found a way to knock herself unconscious Lilith would lose interest and kill her quickly. She sifted through her memories, trying to find something particularly painful, so the mental stress would be too much for her to bear. There was only one thing that sprung to mind, and even if she was about to day she was in no way willing to relive that memory. She'd rather die being tortured. Stoically she wrenched her eyes open and grinned. "Do your worst."
OOC: Ouch, I feel so... helpless xD
Lilith - January 15, 2010 01:58 PM (GMT)
Lilith stopped grinning, this was getting kinda boring. She stopped, not repairing the cells or limbs, but just leaving them the same, exploded from the inside and frozen. Freya was trying to obviously knock herself out somehow, and in a moment of very very very rare kindness, Lilith lifted her sword.
She merely bonked Freya on the head with the hilt, she would wake up with a pain, but not the sort from torture.
This had never happened, and Lilith cursed herself for being weak. How could she do that? Why would she do that? Was she actually starting to feel sorry for Freya? For all the horrible things she had done? Enough questions, she told herself, this is pathetic, a stupid plea from the last tiny human part of her trying to actually exist.
OOC: Random sorry..
Freya - January 15, 2010 02:11 PM (GMT)
Freya exhaled with relief, a split second before the hilt connected with her skull. Her head hit the ground with a thud, probably earning her another bump in addition to the one Lilith had so thoughtfully given her. She relaxed, the pain subsiding as she was envelopped by the cool darkness of her subconscious. Images started flashing infront of her, one moment she was running down a road which never seemed to go anywhere, and she had no idea what she was running from. That vanished replaced by a room with five doors, no matter which on she opened, she ended up in the same room. She frowned at herself, why was her mind conjuring up such strange riddles? Uncaring she slipped further into unconsciousness.
OOC: Sorry 'tis crap xD
Hasier - January 31, 2010 07:00 PM (GMT)
The fighting was a gift of distractions. Hasier had made his way over to the shop. With practiced ease he picked the lock. Next he checked for an alarm. Nothing was present to give his position away. In he went. A few minuites later his bag was full and he was outside again. Time to take his revage. Hasier aimed at the women standing up, the largest threat. He then unloaded the magazine, cleared the weapon and reloaded it with a new magazine. This one had red tape on it. Incendary rounds.
OOC: Mind if I shoot?
