This is basically the gangs opposition to Hark's takover, see "Dock Wars", and should offer an interesting oppertunity for unusal rp. If he is not cool with it, the resitance may be short lived, but hell it should be fun.

just had a great idea on how to get the Grall into the resistance. how about, Sylviidae is (voluntarily) infected with a large number of Grall. These are kept under tight control however, and simply reside in her arms. then, when she enters the Resistance, all she has to do is press the palm of her hand to the bare skin of a resistance member long enough for a Grall to leave her hand and enter the Resistance member. she wanders around doing that for a while, either before or during her own small covert attacks on the Resistance. what do you think Etern? it's your character.

Well for the second part Senda is trying to gather everyone and send out parties to follow/find Sylviidae and bring her to justise, make a hunting topic or something about a group running into mutant or the labs? If Etern or Gothlin are up for it and everyone elde wants to try.

and Vayne, do you want that bot of yours to be taken over or is the leech going to be found or something? need to make a quick decision, considering where the leech was placed it should take around five-ten minutes tops for the Grall to reach the brain :)

And the two head shot thing was stupid. shoot her somewhere less vital and be realistic please. And there was no point where the leech was visible. Try to stay in the realm of realism here okay?

i would just like to point out that by chasing Sylviidae off, you have prevented the attack on the Resistance. Good job, now all you have to deal with is the one Grall inside Reginald, and then you get to be bored until the final attack :P which looks like its going to be a while, since Tekki, Vayne and Leth arent posting in the planning thread,

Gothlin, what is going on with you regarding the resitance? Cause right now its chaos, and assassination attempts should perhaps have been a different topic? I just want this clarified for now.

it wasnt meant to be an assassination attempt, it was Hakr's attack on the Resistance. the idea was the Sylviidae, who was filled up with Grall, would infiltrate the Resistance, infect a number of them, then the Grallspawn would emerge and there would be a battle in the Resistance headquarters, which the Resistance would win. Didn't have much in the way of planning, and you chased Sylviidae away rather than letting her join the Resistance, so that attack has failed and im all out of ideas :( which means the Resistance doesnt look like it'll be doing much until the final attack, which wont happen until you and Leth post in the Final Plans topic so i can confirm what everyone is doing.

I have a part 2 lined up, I just need those from the "Breifing" to make that topic in the docks I keep mentioning, about carrying it out. Then it can resume. Or one could rp about life in the HQ...

none of Hakr's minions are in the docks at the moment, only a few Grallspawn running around the slums. Hakr is doing what i would do in his place, conserve his forces, his enemies arent scattered any more, so he has no need to send out patrols to hunt them down, only gather his mutants together and then destroy all his enemies all at once. which is why im not sure how the Resistance is going to do anything, as i dont want Hakr behaving irrationally just to give his enemies a better chance of survival (see how silly that sounds, if you do, you've got my point :D )

Gah, I assumed he would leave a few patrols in the docks, to stop those pesky thugs re-colonising. Or at least that he had not yet flushed out everyone and that the hunts were still going on. If neither of these then the plot is f*cked. Unless a topic about a few guys running round and round hte warehouses after a non-existrant foe sounds good? ;)

sounds fine to me, im not being hurt by it. and Hakr is prioritising, he could waste his forces dealing with random thugs, which arent a threat to him anyway (he's been slaughtering a gang or three a day for the last month, he isnt too worried about them), or he could concentrate on the group of angels, demented humans and other random beings, which might have actual power. he has an advantage in that with the sewers he can effectively fight wherever he wants, so he doesnt have to worry about reorganised gangs attacking him from behind. as you said, the slums are a fair way away.
my way of trying to get the Resistance to do something failed though (did anyone actually read this thread thoroughly and realise that that was the attack before they chased Sylviidae off? just curious), and the only way to get your way to work would be to have Hakr perform actions that i just cant seem him ever doing. so im really stuck, and a bit annoyed

a couple of pages back i was discussing with Etern ideas for an attack on the Resistance, and we decided on having her infiltrate the Resistance, then using some Grall concealed insde of her to infect some of the random NPC members, which would then turn into Grallspawn and cause a fight inside the Resistance headquarters. only you guys chased Sylviidae off, and im a bit curious on whether or not anyone actually knew what they were doing when they did that

i think that the resistance wasnt paying attention.

Probably not, given how tangled this has become. And it seems that current plans have hit dead ends. But I have a plan to move it forward. If the ambush would fail anyway, they have a specimen to study left by Etern ^^
