Stuck, The Problem with Wheels

A beige cat with random streaks of light blue, pink, and purple sat on the tire staring, trance-like with longing at the trunk of the old car. She streched and slid half way off the tire. She tried several times to pull herself off, but one of her wheels was stuck between the rim and the tire itself. "This is...unexpected," she muttered to herself. "Um...hello? Can anyone hear me. I could really use some help!" She sighed. "Oh, who am I kidding? No one's around to hear me. Guess I'm stuck here for a while."

Alonzo was on guard duty, yet again: frankly, it seemed like he was on-duty more than he was off-duty these days. Well, he supposed that those were the increased responsibilities of being the tribe protector. Still, though, it meant that he had less and less time ot actually enjoy himself. While milling about the perimeter of the junkyard near the tire, the black and white tom heard someone calling for help. He figured he could provide assistance, and it might serve as a distraction from the tedium of the watch. Heading briskly over to the tire, he found another feline - one he didn't quite recognize - trying to pull herself out. "What seems to be the problem?" he asked, looking down at the other cat.

"Well," Longevity said, looking up at the tom shyly, "one of my wheels is stuck. Don't get me wrong, I get stuck all the time. Only I usually get myself out of such situations. I need help this time, though. It's wedged in there pretty good. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind assisting me?" She tugged again, with no success.

Alonzo examined the situation as the feline described exactly what was going on. He nodded his head, as though finally comprehending something very complex, when in reality it was a very simple concept. "Yes, certainly I will help you out," he said, with a large smile and a short nod of his head. Thinking for a moment, he attempted to come up with the best way to go about getting the queen out of the tire. "Here, take my paw," he said, wrapping his paw around one of her arms and attempting to hoist her out.

Longevity did as the tom requested and tried to free the wheel by curling her lower half closer to the rest of her body. This caused her to slide out of the contraption made to help her walk and fall forward.
