Caprisia smiled but sighed as she slid down from the pile of junk. As her paws hit the ground, she jumped forward into a roll and then up into a cart wheel. She lifted her paws upward at the end of the cartwheel, fingers splayed towards the sky as she pointed one of her toes. Bending, she walked into a hand-stand. Separating her legs, she performed a beautiful split while remaining in her handstand. Lifting one hand, she balanced perfectly and traced the hand along one of her legs. She remained in that position for a second longer, before she kicked her legs back up and rolled up and out of the handstand.
She danced around the square, making high-kicks as she proceeded in a slow circle around the square. Soon, she made a leap and landed, pirouetteing as she twirled in the square, feathery tail swirling around her. As she stopped in the very center of the square, she slowly pulled her leg up to touch her shoulder, as she stood as high on her toes as she could. Carefully, she arched her back gracefully and tossed her head back, as she lifted her paws into the air, pointing her fingers at the sky once more. (SORRY, It's short ><) |

Peter Rabbit...That story can't be so simplistic! I mustn't be fooled! No, no, I think it's a kitten's tale with a moral...Never steal...Be true to your family... Plato's thoughts were sluggish and blurry. He had been awake for ten straight hours - a great feat for any cat! - contemplating the 'simple' stories and songs for kittens. In his mind, many of them weren't just told for entertainment purposes. Oh no, there was a deeper meaning to each 'cute' and 'silly' plot and rhyme. The authors must have had a deeper motive...Oh Lordy. His friends would tell him that he was tripping on 'nip, even if he insisted he was only sorting out the real kitten stories with the instructive ones! It was just a simple thought process that had absorbed him completely. This was important subject to him! There could be a clue in one of them to why his childhood hadn't gone very smoothly! Maybe he'd missed an important lesson...
Damn. Plato hated distractions! And here was one. A queen that was flouncing around...My, was she pretty! Let me see, he thought as he gazed at her while she twirled around, what's this one's name again? Cathy? Cassandra? Cissy? Um...Oh yeah, Caprisia! How could he have forgotten? She finished her entrance in a dramatic pose. Where had he seen that pose before? From many queens, he remembered. It seemed that the females liked to show off the curves in their backs, their necks (usually delicate), and their tossed hair. Well, she did look lovely and had him admiring her like an artist with a model. Plato stroked his neck while looking at her. Finally, he applauded. How was it that queens knew just how to display themselves the best? Well, he congratulated this one for getting him out of his reverie without making him grumpy. He pulled himself to his feet and made his way to Caprisia. "That was a lovely entrance," he told her in his soft, strong voice. "You're Caprisia, right?" Yes, he knew her name, but he thought that queens always liked to be asked. Or something... ((Wow, I love Plato now! He's so much fun in this mood!)) -------------------- Oh God. Rhience. Caprisia spread her hands as she leaned back into a bridge and then a back walk-over. As she kicked her feet over, she ended standing up and smiling up at the male serenely. Slowly, she twirled a long peice of feathered tail-fur between her fingers. SHe lifted an eyebrow slowly and then her smile widened slightly. My, my, my... A very, very handsome Tom, indeed... She smiled even wider at the compliment and the fact that he knew her name.
"Thank you!" Her voice was in a higher pitch range, but with a sweet, mellow and smokey note in it. "Yes, I'm Caprisia... But you may call me Ria." Her speech was cultured and measured, with a very faint, undefinable accent in it. She lifted one hand in a slight gesture to him. "Plato, yes?" She noted the fact that she had to gaze up at him, but she didn't mind as she slowly walked out to meet him. A casual sway of the hips and a swing of the tail were included in her slow, graceful steps. As she came within a foot of him, she crossed her arms across her chest. Every movement she made was with dancer's grace and composure. Daintily, she held out one paw to him. "I've seen you before, here. I didn't want to disturb you, you seemed to be contemplating serious thoughts. I thought you would not notice me if I was quiet... It seems I thought wrong." She shrugged slightly and her ears flicked back modestly. "So, were you enjoying the view?" She grinned at him, running her other paw across the muscles of her smooth stomach, absentmindedly. Reaching down, she picked a small daisy growing at the edge of the center and played with it in her paws as she pulled off the soft petals, slowly counting the number in her head. She was very random, one could tell... |

(Okay, I'm feeling colorful!)
"Ria?" He asked. "Okay," he agreed cheerfully. "Yes, Plato. Don't really have a nickname, unless you can come up with something you like." Lovely smile, he thought. She sounds so intelligent! A definite benefit to be around. He could probably learn things from her. Maybe even some answers to some of the questions he agonized over while he sat by himself. Questions like 'What is the purpose of the telling of the story The Three Little Pigs?' Was it something to do with trust? Argh! It ate away at his mind! Maybe someday some other thoughtful ponderer of such things would visit the junkyard. They could have a long chat, revealing their different discoveries. That'd be quite nice. And terribly helpful too. He wouldn't have to torture himself all day, trying to find the words that would solve his problem. He knew that the solotion was so, so close! He felt his fingers reaching out (metaphorically, of course) and almost touching it!. "Serious thoughts...Yes, indeed." Plato nodded slowly. Continuing in a very serious voice, "I was contemplating kitten tales (as in stories). Their purpose, their deep meaning, etc. But I was not so absorbed as to ignore such a pretty queen that was before me!" He smiled at the lovely queen, Ria, reaching out to touch his paw to hers. Ooh! She just picked a daisy! How wonderful! "Tell me, how many petels?" He asked with a frown as he tried to remember what the number would mean. Hmm. He couldn't. Oh well. Nevermind. -------------------- Oh God. Rhience. Adelphi. ![]() ![]() Plato...He will contemplate the reason for your existance...] Dolls created by Cayran |

A light, definite spark of interest appeared in her eyes as he mentioned the kittens' tales. "Amazing... I never thought about those very deeply, though I've contemplated the author's point or purpose for writing them. It sounds interesting, very interesting." She slowly smiled and plucked the last of the petals, letting it rest in her cupped paw as she dropped the stem. It touched on the ground at the same exact time that his paw touched hers softly. Her demure, lowered lashes were a subtle change as she looked at him through thick lashes. She turned the petal over in her fingers before she let that drop as well.
Tentatively, she brushed her paw across his in gentle, soft touches while still looking at him through lowered lashes. She tossed him one of her dazzling, heart-wrenching smiles, her eyes remaining hooded, lending her a smokey, alluring look. Her light, flirty air was still there as she lifted one of her foot-paws, slowly pointing it. "I counted 35. I started on "he loves me" and counted to 35. I got "he loves me"..." She lauged slightly. The sound was like tinkling silver bells. She turned slowly, standing on pointed toes, as she moved her leg slowly moved infront of him and she pirouetted slowly. She looked up at him, as she dropped into a simple front split. "I try to incorporate dance into as much of my life as I can. It's a part of me, just like my voice or my emotions or my... Well you get it?" Slowly, she held out a paw to him, deftly standing up and placing one foot-paw behind the other to balance her weight, as she asked in a soft voice, a question, "Do you like to dance, as well?" (I like colorful, haha :}) This post has been edited by CaprisiaxXxCalamity on Oct 2 2009, 05:49 PM |
