I haven't tried anything yet, back to seven days a week for about another month so computers and the problems I have with them are not needed right now :smiles:

Carl

I am in need of a new monitor, actually my dad is but i am going to give him my old one and get a new one for myself. :) since he could give a damn less about what kind of monitor he has...

I am thinking 24", what would you recommend? I don't want to go expensive i was thinking no more then $250.

and also, have you guys ever heard of those things you put over your computer monitor so that you have to be looking straight on at your screen to see it? like a privacy thing... my uncle had them at his shop and it was nice because people couldn't always look over the counter at his computer screen and see things they shouldn't... i am in need of these and if there is one for a 24" monitor let me know, i cant find them anywhere but i think i am just searching for the wrong thing or something

Carl is loaded up and moving to Colorado, I doubt that he has time to answer your question. I just checked tigerdirect.com and they have lots of monitors in the 23 and 24 inch range in your price range, Take your pick.

While you are there, they have a "Privacy Filter" that I think is what you are talking about. They only show one size though and that is for a 13 inch LCD or Laptop. Someone else may have them for a 23 or larger screen, but I did not see any there.

3M makes them, and in a variety of sizes to fit just about any LCD. 24 Inch widescreen is a little pricey, but then You can handle it, and it will keep prying eyes off your screen.

Yes, I figured that something had changed your thoughts. Why else would you come on here and ask someone to do all your work for you and then not even bother to check back and see what the answer was? :P

Good to see that you do check in once in a while. Still hot in Texas?

Stick around a while, it will cool down there also. :smiles:
