 weird cod4 prob

this is weird, my single player wont start, i get a message that says: 'no cd/dvd found, put in a medium and press ok', but my dvd is in the reader blink.gif , and it makes weird noices when it tries to read it, and my multiplayer works fine blink.gif .

anyone know what it is/how to fix??

Well, multiplayer works because it doesn't need a cd. As for singleplayer... Don't know what's wrong. Heard something about starting up multiplayer first, then singleplayer. Maybe try that. And you can always use a no-cd crack.
But weird noises... Damaged disk? Damaged cd player?

likely the cause here.


or he tried to put in his dvd sideways again. laugh.gif


tip: always make a image of a dvd on your hdd and use a virtual cd-rom.
much quicker and reliable and you don't have to use the fucking disc each time.

my dvd-reader, plays all the other games, only cod4 sp & pes 2008 not, so if my reader was broke he wouldnt read any cd's, right?

lol i think my pc dont like to run call of duty, cant read cod4 & cod5 dvd, dl the cod4 no-dvd crack and it works

prob solved, i needed to clean my lens, now everything works normal again, pheww, i tought my dvd-rom was broken on my laptop, i still have 7 months 'garantie' but i cant find dthe ticked anymore lol
