She dislikes arrogant people and doesn't mind telling them what she thinks of them and will probably make quite a few enemies because of it.

The De Vervaines
They are are descendants of French aristocrats, though the titled lineage has died out. Their wealth has accumulated over the years through careful stewardship and has produced a decent living for the remaining members of the family. They consider themselves noble but are not above working for a living. There have been many famous witches and wizards of the De Vervaine family throughout history,(i.e. Jacques Rousse, an infamous French Death Eater that was assassinated by Albert de Vervaine; Daemion de Vervaine, a famous hermetic Dark Arts practitioner and author.) though many of them are not recognized at the present day. They have had many feuds that have either ended with the other family dieing out or forming alliances with the De Vervaines.
The Moncriefs
The Moncriefs are from Eden's mother's side of the family. They are distantly related to the De Vervaines outside of the marriage alliance of Callum de Vervaine and Jacqueline Moncrief. They have been in alliance for centuries and were often involved in feuds with the De Vervaines. The Moncriefs are extremely wealthy and have alot of influence within the French Ministry of Magic. Many Moncriefs work in the wizarding government or as Professors at Beauxbatons School.
-Character's History: Eden and her parents lived in a small village in Northumberland, where her mother own an herb shop and Callum worked at home as a freelance writer for The Daily Prophet. When Eden was three, Callum got a permanent office job as an editor at the Prophet’s main office in London. He moved his family there and that’s where they lived until Callum and Jacqueline’s suspicious deaths four years later. Eden was then sent to live with her father’s brother, Gerald and his wife, Hester, and their three children --Dorian (10), Freya (8), and Hazel (6).
-Earliest and Favorite Magical Experiences: When Eden and her family were still living in Northumberland, her mother had brought her to the shop for the day. She was left alone in the backroom with her toys while her mother dealt with customers. One of her toys, a small rubber ball, got lost behind some crates. Eden was so upset that she made the crates tumble, quite by accident, with her mind. When her mother had gone back there to see what had made the noise, she found the biggest crate mere inches away from her daughter as she played contentedly with her ball.
