Singe says that they were looking for the original virus, presumably tucked into the DDNA of a human host. That means that Corvinus's human son/daughter must have been born after Corvinus became infected.
Darn to my headcanon. RIP idea that eldest Corvie was born pre-infection! |

I like torturing Corvinus, so I always liked the idea that Unnamed Corvinus Kid would be born post-infection, would be Alexander's favorite, and that therefore Alexander would realize that his favorite was going to age and die, while he'd be stuck with the Looney Toon Twins (presumably) forever. Suck it, old man.

(sigh) I liked the idea that the human brother was the oldest, bravest and most responsible.
ALEXANDER: Why can't you be more like your brother? MARCUS: You mean DEAD? |

He can still be the oldest! I'm going with Alexander assuming all his children would be like himself.

I don't remember if I've already shared this but one idea I had is that all three sons were mortal but the twins went back to their father's old stomping grounds where the virus had become active again. William has an encounter with a sick and dying wolf and transforms at the next full moon. The locals throws Marcus in a dungeon/tower where a local noble's gift from Africa, a vampire bat (hewly infected from feeding on a local animal) finds him. There he hibernates until somehow freed by Amelia.
This is the most simple variant, anyway. There were many, believe me. Damn my indecisive nature! :) |
