the Jackal smiles
cackle in the night
fading light

Cycles of life
Never ending circles
What's there to do?

I'm burning out the night
Everyone's so quick to say

Take it all
you little bastard
chip away at me

Interesting... the way you repeat one of the verses makes it seem almost like a song....
