WOOT!!! I got 2 replies on my topic. How long do I need to make my story to post, and how much editing do I need to do? Thanks

Make it enough for us to read and sate our interest.

Editing is up to you. Don't post something with a billion errors, but we act as 3rd party editors by reading your work here, and posting our thoughts.

Anyway, to give you a better idea of how much to post... Take a shot at several hundred words. It really depends on you as a writer - if you have to force yourself to write a longer piece, then chances are you'll either a) lose interest and stop, or; b) fill it with crap.

Anyway, welcome, and have fun.

I guess this is kind of a newbie question but, Is this board just going through an inactive cycle or is this just how it always is?

I asked the same question a few weeks back. Apparently this board has its ups and downs, as does everything. There are times where you'll see many stories and poems and times where you're left sitting in the dark with a rotten potatoe and five aces as your only friend. :(
