wow that's great news!!!

she's one of those "quiet" SCs with almost no news on her on the past few years. it's great at least we know she's still preety well at 113 =)

I said I would expect a story once Neva Morris passed on...I'm suprised it took THIS long, however.

There's a short but detailed biography of Dina in this newsletter published by the Iowa Geneaological Society in February 2012 (see pages 16-20). It portrays her as a consistently resilient person — working to support her family after her husband's illness and death, surviving colon cancer at age 101, still dancing at 103, still shoveling snow at 105 — and I hope her 115th birthday finds her as strong as ever. She may not be smiling in any of these photos, but I don't think that indicates a lack of kindness or energy.
