Something that has come to my attention is the low number of deaths in May 2012. (2 verified and 1 pending so far)

Whilst I am happy about this, as we are coming to the end of the month, should we expect to hear about the deaths of supercenterians that have already passed earlier this month at a later date.

I am fearful that this may be the calm before the storm and we will see a large number of deaths reported at once such as we had with our twins and Cora Hansen.

Do you think this month will be a good month once all the deaths are reported, or just average?

I've noticed this as well. However, I agree with you that we're unfortunately overdue for some SC deaths, and probably a big one.

Hopefully the summer and the good weather will continue to keep the numbers down for a few months yet.

Last year we had 6 deaths in May (all verified SC). This year May's deaths are 3 (2 verified SC and 1 pending SC) but, unfortunately, I think we must expect some news delayed. I think, for 2012, May will be an average month

With the passing of Marie-Therese Bardet, I am afraid you were right sad.gif

I was right--we were overdue for a big one, which is why M-T Bardet died yesterday. sad.gif

The reason for the low number of deaths in May might have been the fact, that 6 top 10 changes have happened within 3.6 months. Hopefully there will come better times.

The Top 10 is only about 10-20% of the total verified SC population.
