What about Yoshigiku Ito, born 3 August 1856 and died on 26 November 1966 at 110 years, 115 days? Another thing, you also forgot to name Maria do Couto Maia-Lopes as the Portuguese recordholder at 114 years 274 days. Other than that, excellent work. |

Do you mean that he should state Maria do Couto Maia-Lopes was the oldest Portuguese ever when she passed away? Coz Maria de Jesus broke her record by ~200 days already. |

Yes, because her name appears to have accidentally been omitted from the above list. As long as Elvira de Jesus Candelaria remains unvalidated, Lopes is also the first ever Portuguese supercentenarian, and was the oldest Portuguese ever when she died. De Jesus, born in 1893, would not surpass her record for another three years. It wouldn't really matter that de Jesus has already broken Lopes' record, as the latter was still the oldest ever Portuguese at the time of her death in 2005. |

For Italy we're waiting for Vincenza Pannuti's validation (16 September 1860-23 June 1971). She's a pending case

So how about Maria Gomes Valentim? According to your explanation, she should also be specified as the oldest. |

The record for Brazil should be 114.95 for Maria Gomes Valentim not 110.95

Remember, this is not my list but Georg's. Thus, any explanation made by him with regards to the list will always be superior to mine. |
