By half-year:
109: 6/25 = 24%
109.5: 10/19 = 53%
110: 3/9 = 33%
110.5: 4/6 = 66%
111: 1/2 = 50%
111.5: 1/1 = 100%

For the record, Emile Laurent was the oldest man never to become France's oldest living man.

For the men aged 110 and 111, I used Donovan's male SC list. For the other males, I used this page:

http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doyen_des_Fran%C3%A7ais

For Bernard Vigoroux, I remembered a thread about his death, so I decided to add him. I seriously hope that I didn't forget any males, but if I did, please let me know.

Also, did Bernard Vigoroux die on the 19th or the 21st of March? I put 19th on my data, but I'm not sure which date is correct.

Apparently, it's not yet clear what date Vigoroux died on, but I haven't quite checked.

Other than that, wonderful work!

Futurist and any other members, I can't find any 108 years old and older French men between March 1977 (Jean Teillet died) and October 1987 (Henri Perignon turned 108)
