I can't believe it's been six full months since Chiyono Hasegawa passed...and the only other person born in the same year as her is still with us today...

Wow... It's truly amazing that our top 3, the last of the top ten when I started following supercentenarians again, are all still with us. I just have a sinking feeling that when the first one goes, the others will follow quickly...

I hope not.

When the first of them passes away I hope the other 2 would still hold on for at least 2 to 3 more months

It is amazing that she is still with us, I feel so blessed.

She is almost at the 115, 300 day mark, and is only 3+ weeks from reaching Maggie Barnes' level.

She is only 2 and a bit months away now from becoming the first 116 year old in 6 years.

Go Besse biggrin.gif

Besse is already in the Wikipedia top ten addendum
It's really exciting to have someone who could be an undisputed top tenner ;-)
And Dina and Jiroemon are in with a chance to achieve that accolade also

Yeah I think that Dina and Jiroemon will probably die several months after Besse. I just really hope that Jiroemon will break Mortensen's record, get the WOP title, and reach age 116.
