I don't know if it's a my feeling but for a country as Italy (with no hard winter but with hot summer),it seems as it's more difficult to surpass summer...!!!
Often in summer here it's 38-40° for many days...a hell!!! Now here, near Florence it's 10°(during night 1-2°) not bad for winter! Anyway, January has not finished, unfortunately...I remember that September 2011 seems a good month but duing its last days M. Nunes da Silva and M. Schmierer passed away. |

Like the weather expectation for Thursday is -18 degree Celsius in Austria! It might be horrible for many people but not for me, I donīt really feel the winter! The reason I would say is that our todayīs SCīs are stronger than 10 years ago!

With Mrs Pitzolu, Mrs Ichikawa, Mrs Rogges and Mrs Kollar there are now 5 verified SC deaths and 1 pending SC death (total 6). Last year there was 11 verified SC deaths. This month, I suppose, is still long to finish.... |

With Mrs Clarke and Mrs Grimwood there are now 6 verified SC deaths and 2 pending SC deaths (total 8). Last year, in January, there was 11 verified SC deaths...

Sorry to bump...
With the death of Concetta La Rocca-Fera (4 June 1901-29 April 2012), April now has more deaths (9 deaths) than January (8 deaths), a rare occasion that is not to be celebrated. |

Last year April had 6 deaths while January had much more deaths (13!). Until now 2012 doesn't appear as an average year
