I wasn't even born when that picture was taken lol. Am I right that she was some relation to Catherine Hagel? |

Yeah, Delvina Dahlheimer was the sister-in-law of Hagel, I think. Dahlheimer was the oldest in Minnesota at the time of her death, until surpassed by her sister-in-law, Catherine Hagel, who was later surpassed by Walter Breuning in the record of Minnesato's oldest person ever. |

It is amazing that out of all the people in Minnesota, it was Dahlheimer's own sister-in law who eventually exceeded her final age. |

The lady above is not Delvina Dahlheimer (1888-2002). Perhaps her name is Delvina Dahlheimer, that I do not know, but it is not that Delvina Dahlheimer who lived to be 113 years old!
I have, however, pictures of Delvina Dahlheimer and her daughter-in-law, from the same family gathering as the above pictures, but I do not know how to post them here. I'll try with a link to one of them them: http://www.dahlheimer-bebeau.com/Photowebs...88/image056.htm Delvina was 99 years old in this picture and her daughter-in-law, Mildred Dahlheimer, was 70. The occation was a Dahlheimer family gathering in 1988. Toril This post has been edited by Elvira55 on Sep 22 2012, 09:57 AM |

Yes, you are most likely right Elvira. I dont know myself how to post the picture, only the link. Is their a slightly possiblity that this could be her when she was way younger? But they still look too different, so I think you are right |

It is not her, because the pictures were taken on the same occation as the one I linked to, in the year of 1988. :-)
The first picture, however, is her, at 112 or 113. Delvina got on very well with her daughter-in-law, Mildred, who sadly passed away in 1991, aged only 73. It was a great loss to Delvina. Toril |

Here she is again, still in 1988, still aged 99!
The two "old" ladies in the front, to the left in the picture (Rosaria and Cecilia) are daughters of Catherine Hagel (1894-2008). http://www.dahlheimer-bebeau.com/Photowebs...88/image029.htm |

I do not know who she is. Could be a very distant relative of Delvina, perhaps? Her sister, aged 93, also attended this 1988 Dahlheimer family reunion.
http://www.dahlheimer-bebeau.com/Photowebs...88/image015.htm She would later die in 1996, aged almost 101. |

I can understand why Scourge thought that this is Delvina..photo 14 wrongly named her as Delvina...
I wish we could see better on the large group photos. |
