Well earlier today, I send them an email as we need some document/ID from Mr Geurtz to validate him.

Two documents can be obtained by us directly, but a third cannot. Due to the Dutch law -unlike the Belgian law where is is possible, - it is impossible to obtain a third document directly from the townhall unless you are a relative. So the family/nursing home appears to be the (only) way to go.

Note: In april, on the private GRG forum I posted, I found out in the archives from Rotterdam, that he had two sisters and one brother (deceased at age 13). In this article, it confirms my findings.

Pretty strange. A brother with a weak system, and another with a very strong one.

From which person do we get the most genes? Grandparents?

Hes brother died to tyfus, that doesn't mean that he had a weak system. It was a very dangerous disease.

Which again backs up my point that certain diseases can kill anyone with strong and weak genes.

Siblings don't have half of the other's genes because it's a lottery as to what each gets from their parents.
So assuming they have the same parents siblings could have almost no common genes or have almost all the same genes in common.

Geurtz didn't want a lot of publicity on his birthday but he had a long interview with the regional radiostation (in Dutch ofcourse):

http://soundcloud.com/excaliburbv/dhr-cj-geurtz110/s-jLbsU

They talk about a lot of issues: His youth, his current health, sports and political affairs

gijs412 - May 6, 2012 07:59 PM (GMT)
A man with a great personallity. He still sounds very healthy :D

He is not really private, but more modest.

Mr Geurtz doesnt mind being a public figure or doing interviews. He also doesnt mind people adore him or what so ever. But for himself, his age means *nothing to him*. What other people think of him, doesnt bother him.

He is also very smart. He doesnt want the media to start swarming his room. So a few years ago he picked one radio station and decided he would do interviews exclusively with them. He gives one single interview every year and he finds this sufficient.

Does anybody know if he can be verified soon?

Dr Coles did not even started yet, with cases born in october 1901. So no. Besides, Mr Geurtz is not eager about a "possible" validation.

Exactly. I think that Geurtz should get validated eventually, considering how impressive his age is for a Dutch man.

No, he only gave 1 interview. He doesn't like people comming to his house for interviews and everything. SO he said he would give only 1. I think it is pretty smart of him.

Ok fair enough
Did he go out to the radio station to give the interview or did they come to him ?
