Maybe it is patronising to assume that older people won't be able to adapt to the newest inventions.... but I must admit, seeing them embrace new technology is always something that warms the heart....

So it's possible that Lilian Lowe is really Facebook's oldest user if Ella Schuler's family is the one using Facebook and not Ella Schuler herself right?

Well it's not even her iPad. In typical Daily Mail style, the title says that it's hers but later contradicts itself to say that it's her grandson's. I assume she's signed up and checked it once or twice when her grandson has gone to visit.
