The daemons are the beings of the underworld. They are revered and for good reason. Once, after the second life of the great Skaha, a daemon ruled over the Kanh and drove them into a brief but brutal war against the humans.
The daemons are the gods of hell, they fight against theones in heaven on the chessboard that is Meht. The Kanh is the only race known that dares to associate with these vile creatures of darkness. The gods however gave them little choice, calling them the beasts of the unclean and the seeds of darkness. In time the daemons became to be worshipped by the Kanh, they came to love them for the power and gift of magic thet they bestowed upon them. Every once in a while the pit of souls will open the gates of Maht to one of these creatures, and they will reak hell upon the world, however for each one the undeworld sends, heaven and it's gods always send a savour. The daemons are not beings of essense, they are walking demi-gods, with no purpose or alliegance other than to destroy the servants of heaven. However this lack of essense restricts their power to a significant degree, they can use no magic, and their hold on the world is shacky and unstable, all it takes is for one to get too close to a servant of god and they are cast back into their fiery home. However as a being of no essense they have come to act as a sponge to those aroun them. They take in the excess essense that leaks of their surroundings and come to display the true traits of a species -------------------- The time for war is nigh!

Daemons are not always come to this world as such a thing though, such beings are born in this material realm, and savage youngsters they make, but they are nought compared to the daemons summonned from the fiery chasm itself.
These daemons have lived for thousands of ears under the rule of the greater daemon gods, and their powers are great and their mind, unbound. These daemons are sent by their rulers to assist the Kanh in their glorious conquest, and on the battlefield dwarf all other foes and can outmatch even the great dragons that once walked the world. -------------------- The time for war is nigh!
