Gelert RP, Have fun

It was a rainy day. The tall field grass was soaked and laying flat on the ground. There was lots of mud every where. There was also a fare sized cave in the field, with a huge lake next to it. The lake curved around the wholed cave, and streched out really wide at teh side of the cave. in front of the cave, in the lake, were seven rocks leading from the field to inside of the cave.The rocks were big enough to sit on. There was a little waterfall that fell from the far left side of the mouth of the cave. You could either jump through it or walk to the other side of the cave and get out there, not having to go throught the water.

In the cave lay an extremely tired gelert. She had a beautiful coat of fur: a dark, rick blue that you could drown in, and golden stars that shined like the bright stars of the night. She was quite pretty. and she looked so peaceful. However, peaceful was definately not the word to describe the terrible night she had.
She was just walking through a forest, when she heard a loud, ear pericing screech. All of a sudden, a huge creature came right towards her. She couldn't make out all of the details of the creature, but she saw that he had amazingly long, sharp teeth, foam bubbling out between them. He had raybies ((sp?)), that's for sure. His eyes glistened in the night, a bewildered look to them. It threw the back of it's paw at her, and she stepped back, hopping not to get hit. But she did get hit from the end of it's paw. She was thrown to teh side, the wind knocked out of her for a few secconds. When she got up it swiped it's enormus paws at her again, deadly to the touch claws extended. She leaped back, avoiding the swipe, and ran to his side while he wasn't looking. She quickly bit down on his side as hard as she could, and it jumped up and yelped. She thought it was the right time to flee. She had no choice. It was either flee, or be killed. She had no chance against him for he was three times bigger than she was. So she wouldn't have a chance. She indeed has the claws to kill any old creature if she wanted, her size, smaller, or bigger, but not three times bigger then she was. If he was her size, he'd have the same length claws as her, but because he was bigger, his claws were three times bigger.

It was very late when she found a place to stay, making sure it was no ones territory. Then she lay down in the cave and fell asleep. It was raining the whole night.

When she awoke, she rolled on her side, facing the mouth of the cave. She looked out at all of the flattened grass and at teh waterfall, coming from the top of the cave. She decided to lay there for a bit longer, and enjoyed herself.

a loud crash of thunder caught the attention of the beautiful gelert, for she was still extremely cautious about the creature that had come for her. she looked around nervously trying to keep her breathing quiet. her ears strained, listening for any life near to her.her eyes flashed between lightning, was it? no. she must have been mistaken. nothing could move between lightning flashes, nothing was that fast. the starry gelert set her head down again, confident that nothing was there. she kept her weary eyes on the entrance however prepared to see....

out side of the cave was a shadowy gelert, dark enough to see into the void that was his soul, he was a demon. his eyes were cold silver pools that could see anything.. thoughts, dreams and even sound when he wished. he was an evil spirit given a second chance at a benevolent life, old habits die hard however. on his 4 years back in neopia he had already slayed 5 gelerts and 2 lupes. he keeps their wretched souls in a vial around his neck. he had come apon a tired, weary being that he was not about to spare. once again he stood in front of the cave, lightning struck and the beautiful gelert inside the cave looked up. the lightning was gone though the silhouette (sp?) remained she shuddered even though it was not the rabid creature it was not about to do good.

She jumped up and stepped backwards slowly. She was startled. As she walked backwards, she bumped into a rock, causing a little red liquid filled glass that hung around her neck to fall and break on the ground. A huge explosion blasted in front of her as she fell to the ground.

As the fire died down and the smoke cleared, she was once again visable. But she was collapsed on the ground.

(( yea sorry i wont do it again, i wondered if it was borderline..... no i didn't make the avatar i stole it from my friend (she sent it to me) when we were im-ing.))

The shadowy figure moved closer twards the whithered heap. as he walked he did not sound.some gelerts that have heard of him say he didnt even breathe...ever. he walked idily(sp?) placing one paw on directly infront of the other, his stealth was almost cat-like. the shadow gelert's eyes seemed to glow with the with the dreary overcast. for one fraction of a second the focused of something other than his potential prey. they glazed over concentrating on something else. then as quikly as it came the was focused again of the frail beast. he snorted looked behind him and walked away. his thoughts penatrated the mind of the poor starry gelert he seemed to say "i'll come back for you" without the words ever becoming clear.

he walked out to the miserable weather, his coat seemed alomst waterproof as the water trickled down his sides. he bagan to jog going faster every now and then. eventually he got into a sprint and ran for a while without tiring. he finally found the pathetic form of the grey..

the shadow gelert cocked his eyebrow and tiled his head, the way young pups often did. he had never seen anythin so "blah", so unemotional. he was confused . "what are you?" he asked looking that the dull creature. after waiting for a reply the gelert left ..because he didnt want to take anything down even if it was weaker but would not put up some kind of defence.

"humph the glerts these days" thought the shadowy figure as he walked back to the cave, hoping that the frail starry creature was still there. "If he's not going to fight back whats the point of living? psh the colors these days...." when he got back to the cave he looked around and seeing nothing he went inside to rest.

Hiding from behind the tree, the gelert took a few steps from behind the tree and came in clear view. She bowed her head and then looked up at the Grey gelert. She tehn politely asked,"If I'm not disturbing you, may I ask of your name?" She gave a slight smile to show she didn't want to be mean or hurt anyone.

when the shadow got to the cave, the starry gelert was gone. instantaneously the shadowy figure caught a scent and turned around.. the hunt had began.

Not thinking the gelert stepped forward, now standing next to the sad gelert. She sat down comfortably and waited for and answer. The poor gelert...she looks so tired, she thought to herself. She continued to smile.
