Rules

1. Please be respectful of staff, and other members.

2. Do not spam. See here for an explanation of what we will consider spam. You may be docked points for it!

3. Do NOT rip off other people's work. It is unacceptable. If we find out you have claimed another's work as your own, you will be deemed a mudblood and banned.

4. Please do not use personal pictures on this site. Your own photography is okay, pictures of you and friends/family are not.

5. Please do NOT double post. Wait for someone else to add a reply before replying to another post of yours. The only place where double posting is allowed is in a duel. If you have not had a reply to your gallery in a month, then you may double post in your gallery.

6. Make sure you post your gallery in The Muggle World before going any further! We need you to do this even before you're sorted.

7. There are no promotions in this community. You will either be a Muggle, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. You will not be able to change your House once you've moved on from Muggle unless you have the 1500 Galleons to pay for a House change!

8. Do not go overboard with the swearing. An occasional swear word is okay, excessive swearing is not.

9. Please be considerate about your signature width. This is to ensure that the boards aren't stretched unnecessarily. For now, there's no limit on height, but if you go overboard with it, you will be contacted by a mod or admin. Secondary images (such as buttons) are okay, but again, let's not go crazy with them.


Regarding Sorting

When you post your gallery, do so in The Muggle World. Make sure you post your gallery first before trying to be sorted! Your gallery will then be moved to the proper Common Room, if and when you do the following:

When you're in The Entrance Hall, after you introduce yourself, make sure you stop by The Sorting Hat and get sorted. You will need to fill out the sorting quiz, after which a staff member will come along and sort you into the proper House. If you are not satisfied with your sorting, you will be able to purchase yourself a House change once you have 1500 Galleons.

Of course, you can choose to remain a Muggle. It's up to you. However, Muggles will not be able to earn House Points. Muggles may be sorted at any time.
