Kendal Town Reserves get of to a flying start in their pre-season campaign with a 5-0 win over Ambleside United.
The game started off slowly but a substitution seeing last seasons managers and players player Rylen Knowles replacing Jason Tucker seemed to spark Kendal to life and Knowles himself got on the score sheet just moments later when Chris Corless played a ball across the Ambleside box for Knowles to took in at the back post.

Just after the break a ball was played from Barlett to Corless and he was bundled over in the box, a penalty was given and Ashcroft stepped up and stuck the spot kick behond the Ambleside keeper.
Good chances fell to Knowles, McDonald and Gardner but they all failed to trouble the keeper.
