Her eyes panned to Senna as he put his arm around her, only to hop up suddenly and start pacing the room. She continued to watch him, a keen interest in her eyes, as if expecting him to do something extravagant. "Maybe she has a bath in this house," he wondered aloud, and she shrugged in response. She had no clue, but the place seemed small; she doubted it.
Then the witch returned, and her eyes flickered toward her, an even expression on her face. She questioned where they might be staying, and before Nadia could answer, Senna already had, saying quite fluidly where he would like to say, and simultaneously asking whether or not there was anywhere to bathe in here.
"Don't be so quick. Now I'm not very keen on allowing two shirtless, bloody strangers to stay in my house, but I have found it in my heart to allow you to sleep in the main room, provided you clean and make me breakfast in the morning..."No. Use the water outside," she finished, before tossing Nadia a bottle. The Hunter instinctively caught it with little struggle, gazing down at it curiously. "Here. Now, I'm going to sleep. Don't even think to try anything."
She left them in silence, which Senna broke a whole .5 seconds later, asking whether or not she wanted to go bathe. "Yeah, I do." she replied, glancing down at her. "Do you have my shirt? I'd like to wash it off so I don't have to go running around shirtless all the time." She started toward the door stiffly, as if not wanting to move too much. It would be bad to further harm her wounds.

"Yeah, I do. Do you have my shirt? I'd like to wash it off so I don't have to go running around shirtless all the time," moving with cautin toward the door.
He followed behind her, stretching his hands above his head and following her outside. The room, he realized, had been cooler; the humidity and the heat weighed down now that they were outside. It was only mid-evening, but for some reason he was already thinking of the morning. "I left it down with Charlemagne," he answered, her, looking up toward the sky- catching sight of the angry moon, beyond the soft leaves and the canyons.
"I sort of remember seeing you at Termina Field when that big rock fell," he began, mildly curious in his tone, his gaze shifting from the moon to Nadia.
"Why do you think the moon is upset?" He had experienced emotions mostly from songs- but firsthand, not really. It wasn't often that he was truly angry, or scared, or insecure; that was maybe a product of moving thoughtlessly from one situation to the next. People seemed to be consistently in the throws of some emotion. Everybody seemed to have something hidden behind their eyes. Even Nadia, he'd learned, had something in her past that had tangled up the present. Did he have any of that sort of thing?...Not really. He didn't think so, at least.

She slowly made her way down the ladder, wincing with every movement. Her hands were deliberate and careful, as if to make sure she wasn't going to fall off at any moment...ah, that would be awful, truly it would. "I sort of remember seeing you at Termina Field when that big rock fell," he spoke up, and she glanced to him. "Yeah?" she replied, letting one foot lower to the next step. "Why do you think the moon is upset?
She paused on that one when she stepped down to the platform at the bottom, her eyes venturing up to the moon, which stared viciously back down at them, its red eyes practically glowing in the night, its teeth clenched in an angry snarl. "...I don't really know." she replied, removing the garment that was still on her upper body, placing it to the side. "I suppose it is because of a curse or a spell of some kind. Or, if you want a witty answer, because it's pissed that the sun's getting all the attention, so it grew a face and started glaring at people to get more attention because it's needy." She had pulled off her pants and underwear by this time, and after inspecting her bandages again, was wading into the water, splashing some over her, to wash off the blood and grime. Charlemagne snorted, grazing a short distance away.
"Why do you ask?" she questioned, looking back at him. "Do you know of a reason?"

She paused as they started down the ladder. "I suppose it is because of a curse or a spell of some kind. Or, if you want a witty answer, because it's pissed that the sun's getting all the attention, so it grew a face and started glaring at people to get more attention because it's needy."
Senna let out a loud laugh; skipped the last few rungs of the ladder and landing on the wood platform with a bit of a stumble. She undressed, throwing her clothes aside and silhouetted against the moonlight- her body vague by the dark. "Why do you ask? Do you know of a reason?" she asked, wading into the water.
"Nope," he answered, and without a pause jumped into the water after her, immersed immediately in the coolness- the water at first stinging into his cuts, but it didn't really matter. He surfaced, shook his hair out, floated for a moment, thoughtless. "I don't know. Usually when a person is so angry, something's happened in their conciousness. Things usually don't happen suddenly. I think things take a long time to happen- even if they don't look it." He ran a hand through his hair, looking up to the tree tops. The birds and monkeys discussed among themselves somewhere nearby, but it was just stars in his brain. "I guess every need has an ego to feed," he continued, glancing over at her.

She closed her eyes as he leapt in the water with her, causing a torrent to splash up and over her. Brushing her soaked hair from her face, she look back at him as he spoke, listening with increasing interest. "Well, well," she began after he had finished, smirking slightly. "Look who's being all philosophical today."
She pat him on the head as if he were a child. "What's gotten into you, dear Senna?"
At that, she sighed a little, leaning back against the platform. "Anyway...I don't know. I'm willing to bet it was something magical in nature. I don't believe the moon has a mind of its own. Just because something can see and scowl doesn't mean it has a logical, working mind." She glanced over at him as she ran some water through her hair.
"Senna," she began. "You know a lot more about my history than I know of yours. Do you care to fill me in?" she asked, raising an eyebrow expectantly as she washed some more dirt off. "It's not fair for you to know so much, and I so little."

The moon hung bright and clear, effervescence drifting off its light and into the stars; his eyes flicked to hers as he finished- she was smirking a little bit."Well, well. Look who's being all philosophical today."
He let off a small laugh and a smirk like hers; she pat him on the head slightly, and his mind hooked onto vivid pink. "What's gotten into you, dear Senna?"
"I forgot t' tell you," he grinned, taking her hand from off his head- holding her wrist lightly, "I'm a philosopher king. This poor stuff is only a test. I have lotsa money; I'm willin to share."
Her body lifted away from his; a catlike sigh, and she leaned against the wooden platform. "Anyway...I don't know. I'm willing to bet it was something magical in nature. I don't believe the moon has a mind of its own. Just because something can see and scowl doesn't mean it has a logical, working mind."
He nodded; fair enough, that seemed like it could be true. Maybe it was just his imagination running away with him...but it still bothered him; the nature of things seemed to revolve, seemed to be connected. Every action had a reaction; some were nicer than others, he mused, as he watched her run her hands through her hair. The quiet was dark and starry; but she began to speak. "Senna," she started, her voice even, "You know a lot more about my history than I know of yours."
A shot of feeling rang through his brain- something like panic, but more lowdown. "Do you care to fill me in? It's not fair for you to know so much, and I so little."
He hummed and nodded, as if to say, "that's true..." But his eyes became shaded, and he leaned up against the platform next to her. Looked up at the red eyes of the moon, then over to her. "It's a secret," he said, poking her on the shoulder and winking; but then his expression settled a bit. "Uhm. What do you wanna know?" Something in his brain was saying "Caution!" but he figured he'd try to tell her what she wanted to know, regardless.

At his response, she watched him for a few moments before she slowly looked out at the waters they were soaking in, her vivid pink eyes dreary as her mind wandered. Just what /did/ she want to know? What all did he know about her? Her family, that was one; the majority of her past...he knew her hometown. She frowned, realizing he knew far too much about her. She could only hope he didn't become an enemy- that would be problematic.
"Your family, if it's not too much trouble." she replied, closing her eyes and sighing softly, leaning back against the bank of the lake. "You know my father and mother, and..." she hesitated. "...new brother. Do you have any siblings? What are your parents like?"
She looked toward him, a curiosity in her eyes not often found there. "You know far too much about me." She stretched her arms above her head, yawning slightly before letting them sink back into the water. She and he were relatively close together in this pool, but nothing /too/ close. She wondered if he would make any motions to get closer. What were they, anyway? Bah. Now wasn't the time for such stupid thoughts. She glanced toward him again, awaiting his answer.

"Your family, if it's not too much trouble," she answered, and the anxiety in Senna's mind loosened immediately. That wasn't too much of a problem, no. "You know my father and mother, and...new brother. Do you have any siblings? What are your parents like?"
Her mind seemed to wander down an invisible path, and she seemed to gauge their proximity; there was something light in her eyes that he hadn't seen before, and he looked curiously back at her."You know far too much about me," she said, in a sort of sigh of conviction.
He laughed. "You might hafeta kill me. I'm tired anyway, it wouldn't matter much." He paused, running wet hands through his hair. "My family. Well I was born in a river village in Hyrule. My ma and pa got married young. My mom's a sweet woman. She's kinna nuts, but I like that. She's all high-strung and crap."
He traced a pattern on the surface of the water- running geometry along the fluid darkness. "My dad was okay. I didn't really know about him. He was always there but I didn't know him well. I didn't really care anyway. He disappeared uhm I think- three years?" Turning his mouth in dissatisfaction, he brought a hand up from the water- doing math on his fingers as he thought back down the halls of memory. Had it been so long? Or, had it really been that recent..."Yeah, I was sixteen, so it had to be three years. Anyway." He smiled toward her- eyes lit in the feral dark. "I dono what happened to him. He was a merchant, so he went to other towns and stuff." He shrugged. "He prolly found some girl and ran off with her. Guys are like that, always on the run I guess.."
He bit his lip; "And anyway I haven't seen my ma in like two years. I don't think of my family that much actually. It doesn't really have- uhm anything to do with me. I guess that sounds weird. But anyway, there you have it. It's kinda a yawn, but whatever."

She listened to his story without interruption, staring at the forest surrounding them. She saw a Deku Baba a little ways away, and her mind wandered to that Deku fellow she had seen when she first got here. There was that bespectacled guy that stammered a lot, too; wonder where he ran off to. She hadn't seen him around Clock Town. As he arrived at the end of his story, playing it off, she gave him a curious look again. "And if my memory serves correctly," she spoke delicately, as if unsure of her words. "You are not originally from Termina, correct? If so, where are you from, and how did you get here?"
She knew she might be a little demanding, now, but she tended to get that way when learning information. It was something about her that she was very aware of, yet did nothing to change it. When one needs information, one needs to have it. And she was damn sure she was going to get it.
"Well...?" she questioned, moving a little closer, as if an eager child. Her body was closer to his, now, as if a way to taunt him into giving her the info she wanted.

Nadia's posture was demanding; she intended to get the information she wanted, and he smiled at that- she was all business for sure, and that was something he liked about her."And if my memory serves correctly. You are not originally from Termina, correct? If so, where are you from, and how did you get here?" her voice was hesitant, porcelain soft.
"Well?" she asked, moving closer.
Their closeness set of sparks of electricity that ran through wires of the night; and he laughed smally, moved closer to her and propped an arm up on her shoulder. "This one's pretty epic, so ya might wanna hold on," he began with a laughing tone. He thought back- back to rainy, cold mist, and the gray dawn over the port- sea salt like incense high in his mind...sparrows when you're close to land...
"I'm from Saria Town, that's a place on the river- depends on the river. Anyway I cleared the Hell out of there when I came into enough money. Went around Hyrule for a while, nothing much interesting there. I was heading to the port.
"So I wanted to go to Windfall- if you're hustling then Windfall is where you wanna be because that's the center of it all. Everything is alive there. I stayed- uhm, I was there for a bit," he continued, eyes catching onto hers to scan for a reaction- to see whether or not she had noticed that he was glossing over a detail- "'Bout half a year. Then something happened, so I left and I went to Dragon Roost. That's where I met my postman, Luti. If you hang round me long enough, you'll prolly meet him, he's really cool.
"Anyway somebody gave me the advice to go to Clock Town, so I did. I was in Clock Town for half a year, then went travelin' round the rest of Termina."
He paused, eyes shooting up to the moon- then to her eyes and he smiled like a child with a secret. "And then I came back to Clock Town, and I was planning on making some money and maybe going back to Windfall- but then I met the most horrible woman..."

She closed her eyes, again listening to his story. It was an interesting adventure; going from one continent to another. The very thought of such intrigued Nadia. She had never left Termina, and had only heard of Hyrule in soft whispers of the adults and the occasional blabber of guards in Clock Town. It had been mentioned in her studies as a child, but mostly, things seemed to be kept under wraps.
"Dragon Roost Island, hm..." she breathed, almost dreamily, staring up at the night sky. "That is the place with...what were they...Rutos, correct? ...no, not Rutos, Ritos. Yes, that." She set him with a look, as if asking whether or not it was correct, before she again looked away. She smirked as he finished his story, and rose her eyebrows. "A horrible woman you say? My, that must have been awful. I can't imagine the sorrows you must have gone through."
She chuckled quietly, running her hands through her hair a few more times before she sighed, moving away from him. "Okay...I suppose we should return to the hag's shop." she muttered, pulling herself out of the water.
