I've been working my way through the Iron Man collection on CD-Rom... I just finished "Tales of Suspense" #55, and it's interesting to see the difference between... what would that be, silver age?... and the modern day.

IM is a great example of how the Comics Code really held back a character. Marvel couldn't have gotten away with half the stuff that defines the character today. What would IM be if Tony wasn't such a jackass?

Though, it's still fun to read Tony's attempts to be a stand-up role model for young, impressionable children.
