Can someone explain to me why people capitalize the "t" in EnTama and UraTama?
 I don't get it. Is it like a tamagotchi etiquette or somethin?  -------------------- |

Yes, but this isn't the word Tamagotchi.
It's Entama and Uratama. I mean, you're capitalizing a letter that's smack-dab in the middle of a word.  What gives tamas the right to bend English? -------------------- |

Maybe because they think Tama is a whole different word but didn't want to put a space.

I think the full name is something like "Cho JinSei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus" for the EnTama, and "Ura JinSei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus" for the UraTama. So squish them down... EnTama and UraTama. As for the capitalisation... I don't think it really matters... XP I've always written the names as 'EnTama' and 'UraTama,' but there is no right or wrong. I suppose it just comes from the capital 'T' from Tamagotchi, like Patch said. Since the abbreviations are taken from two words, the second is capital to emphasise the second word. Either way, EnTama/Entama and UraTama/Uratama are far quicker to write out than the full name, so use whichever. --------------------  ~* Amazing signature banner by KuroVioletchi! n_nb *~       Thank you all so much! ^.^ |
