I think the full name is something like "Cho JinSei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus" for the EnTama, and "Ura JinSei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus" for the UraTama. So squish them down... EnTama and UraTama.

As for the capitalisation... I don't think it really matters... XP I've always written the names as 'EnTama' and 'UraTama,' but there is no right or wrong.

I suppose it just comes from the capital 'T' from Tamagotchi, like Patch said. Since the abbreviations are taken from two words, the second is capital to emphasise the second word.

Either way, EnTama/Entama and UraTama/Uratama are far quicker to write out than the full name, so use whichever.
