Welcome to Tallygarunga Academy of Magic. A little lost and confused? It happens to us all, so we've listed all our helpful topics into this one handy-dandy directory for you to use. Anything marked with an [E], we do expect you to read before applying - there's only two of them, so don't stress! Anything marked with an [S] is a strong recommend, and the rest? It's there if you get bored, or a few moments to yourself.

All the information is sorted, according to what is best to read before you register, species and information on different sorts of characters, some things to think about when creating your character, all the information about Tally itself, and some notes on roleplaying as well.

So enjoy, and have fun here at Tallygarunga!

Before You Register
Just a few things we’d like you to know, before you register your character’s name. It’s important... we wouldn’t lie to you like that!

• [E] The Official Board Rules: Nasty, but necessary. Every board has some, and we think ours are fairly reasonable. Read, respect, and follow. Keep a careful eye out though, for the keywords!
• [E] Avatar & Signature Rules: Just a few notes on how we like avatars and signatures to be done here at Tally. Read carefully, more keywords to be found inside!
• The Tallygarunga Board Beliefs: A code of conduct of sorts, not mandatory – but worth a read all the same. It’s important to know why we’re here and what we’re trying to achieve!
• The Complaint & Punishment System: How we roll here at Tally, and why you won’t be banned for absolutely no reason. Worried we’re tyrants? Have a look, and calm your nerves.

Rules for Different Characters
Thinking about playing something just a little bit different? Here are all of the topics on the different species. Each species topic has its own unique keywords, so read carefully!

• Types of Characters: A listing of the different sorts of characters possible here at Tally, for your enjoyment.
• Visiting Characters: The special rules devised for visiting characters, a must read for anyone applying as a visitor.
• Were-Cats: They probably look cute, but this is one kitty you don’t want to be messing with.
• Elves: The dainty pointy-eared race, somehow more magical than the rest of us.
• Giants: Fee Fi Foe Fum... well, there’s not so many Englishmen about, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t giants!
• Dhampirs: The part-vampire beings, though just as alluring and dangerous as their full-vampire ancestors.
• Werewolves: Mortal enemy of the were-cat, just another reason why you should never pet strange dogs.
• Vampires: Creatures of the night, so beautiful and dangerous. Also known as blood-suckers and fang faces... depending on how strong your death wish.

Creating Your Character
A few more things it’s great to know when creating your character. From what we’ve got, to what we need – and some other interesting things we’d like you to be aware of.

• Tally Canons & Character Requests: Looking to make something we need? We’ve got a few suggested characters listed here, and you can suggest your own, too!
