Cecilia Parker slung her heavy book bag over her shoulder and clutched two wands
tightly in front of her face. Which was real and which one was a fake? She didn’t mind
practical jokes, but she had a Transfiguration test coming up and was really stressed
out. Transfiguration wasn’t her best subject. She’d barely scarped by with an E last
year and needed to do better. She let out a long pained sigh and stuffed the two wands
in her bag. She’d figure it out later.

Cecilia waved to some fellow Gryffindors as she started to climb out of the portrait
hole. She felt someone shove her hard; forcing her to land face first and get grass
up her nose. Wait a minute, she meant carpet. There was no grass inside Hogwarts.
Yet as she slowly raised her head, she got an eyeful of green. What the hell? Cecilia
plucked one blade of grass and stared at it. What was going on? She slowly pushed
herself up into a sitting position and gasped. "Ceci, you're sure as heck not in Scotland
anymore"
she muttered. What she was in was a grassy area on a hill of some sort.
None of her surrounding seemed familiar. Maybe this was heaven. Cecilia brightened
at this thought. Maybe the muggles had dropped a nuclear bomb or something on
Hogwarts and she was dead, in heaven. If so, death hadn't hurt at all.

Cecilia stood up and brushed herself off. She looked around for some sign of civilization.
"HELLO?!" she called out loudly, but all that came near were birds and critters.
Fat load of help they would be in finding out where she really was. Or so she thought
till the chipmunk closest to her said in a gruff voice, "Would you mind not yelling?"
Cecilia let out a loud shriek, then said the first thing that came to mind. "Are you
an angel?"
The chipmunk gave her a dirty look and left. Cecilia looked down at her
now sweaty palms. What had she gotten into?

It had been a while since anyone had gone out on a search mission for new students. He wasn't entirely sure why, but after a few weeks of no one really new poping up from Hogwarts, Justin had began to worry that there were more students out there. Lost and confused. Completely oblivious to what they were doing in a strage new world, and so, he pack a small satchel of food and water, secured his wand in his calf holster and headed to the arrival courtyard to take off. He strolled past the guards and students who were stationed at one fo the entries to the courtyard. "Off to find some straglers then?" Asked one of the guards who looked up from the game of gobstones he was learning. Justin nodded and brushed past, entering the courtyard and stopping just to the side of the fountian to double check he had everything.

Once Justin had decided his was ready, he fixed his mind on the three D's of apperation and spun on the spot. His first check point was far from the castle, a place where he had found Mal Lancaster, the Head girl. After arriving, a few moment of searching, and finding nothing, he was off once again. This time his apperated onto the top of a hill that was named for it's lush green-ness. Green Hill. And there, standing a few feet from him, was a girl in the familiar school uniform, cloak and pack. Gryffindor, he noticed. Cecilia.. Yes, Cecilia Parker, if he remembered correctly, and a year younger than him self. She looked as though she had just arrived, probably only seconds before he had. "Well look what the lion dragged in!" He said adjusting his satchel and cautiously made his way to her. "Are you alright Parker? Did you just arrive??" he asked, trying to be gentle and not alarm her in anyway.

Fearing it was some sort of animal, Cecilia slowly around for the source of the new voice; her heart beating fast. It wasn't a bird or a beaver or something unnaturally natural, it was just Hogwart's head boy. Wait a minute, what was the head boy... why was he here? "JUSTIN LANCE!" she quite literally shrieked. "WHERE IN THE NAME OF MERLIN'S PANTS ARE WE?!" She fought the urge to latch onto him and cry. After all, she wasn't two years old.

What she did do however, was pull both one of her wands out of her book bag, just in case she was attacked. Or if those vile talking animals came back. She felt herself start to hyperventilate. If Justin Lance was here, that meant she was dead. Or wasn't. She walked up to him and pinched his cheek. It felt real. "We're not dead right?" she asked in a small voice.

Cecilia slowly nodded as Justin asked her a question. "I'm fine physically, but emotionally I'm messed up right now. I just arrived but arrived where? I don't know what's going and it's freaking me out. I have to get to Transfiguration! I have a test!" she took a deep breath and allowed tears to slide down her cheeks. Just then, one of her wands turned into a rubber duck. She stared at it, silent, for a few seconds, then burst into hysterical laughter. She was aware that she was acting bipolar, but this was just a state she got into in strange situations. When she finally calmed down, her stomach rumbled. This sent her into another fit of hysterical laughter.

Justin was glad that Cecilia recognized him in the state she was in. He smiled comfortingly at her shriek, hoping to instill calm.. which clearly wasn;t on her range of emotions right this second. "Yeah, It's ok Cecilia, you're gunna be o-" He stopped short however, when she pulled out two wands, thought a moment, and proceeded to pinch his cheek. He looked at her curiously before her question.

"Dead?" He chuckled a bit. "No. We're very much alive." He listened to her next explination with full attention, and smiled when she said she was physically okay, but frowned at her emotional state. But then, it was to be expected, I mean.. she had just been thrown into a world so unlike her own.. it was scary. "I'm afraid you won't be getting to your next class. As far as we know we can't get back." He said.

Tears fell down her cheeks. He was about to take a step forward, maybe put a hand on her shoulder for comfort, but one of the wands she was holding turned into a rubber duck. She burst out laughing. Justin cracked a smile of his own. Wow, bipolar much? No.. it had to have just been the whole situation. He laughed a bit himself. Joke wand, always a classic gag in their home world. A world Justin wasn't sure they would ever see again. He shook the thought from his head. 'No. Stay positive Justin'. He thought as Cecilias stomach growed and she burst into another fit of laughter. He chuckled. She SEEMED to be alright...

Justin removed his satchel, adjusted his tunic, which had gotten sort of twisted during his last apperation, and sat crossed legged on the ground. He looked over to Cecilia and motioned for her to join him. "Here, you sound hungry." He told her with a chuckle, pulling out the loaf of bread, canteen of water and bit of meat he had broughten.

"Dead? No. We're very much alive."

So it hadn't been a hateful muggle attack. Yeah, the dead thing had been a shot in the dark anyway. She'd pretty much trashed that theory, especially when the chipmunk had started talking. Cecilia let out a tiny pained squeak. If they weren't dead, then where were they? Justin obviously seemed comfortable with the situation, so she supposed it wasn't a bad place, but curiosity was gnawing at her. She wanted to know where-, no what this was. She put her arms around herself. It was then that she noticed Justin's attire. "Lance, why the hell are you wearing a tunic? And why is your wand strapped to your calf? Did we go back in time or something?" That would make a lot of sense, but the talking animals didn't fit in with that theory.

Cecilia felt tears well up again when Justin said they wouldn't be getting back. They threatened to spill, so she wiped them with the back of her hand. How was she supposed to become a successful Auror when she couldn't complete her education? This was so completely stupid. She felt like tearing at her hair at the moment, like the people of previous centuries did when they were in grief. She settled for sitting down beside Justin and tearing hungrily at the food he offered her. Celia was thankful for the food, but she missed the fluffy pancakes of Hogwarts. Those house elves sure were good cooks. She turned to Justin. "Where are we?" she asked quietly. "WHERE ARE WE?" her voice rose to a shriek again.

[ooc: haha wow.. can't believe i forgot to anwser that lulz. here ya go!! <3]

His own comfort in the present situation seemed to, for the moment, calm the gryffindor girl down. He chuckled again when she inquired about his attire, he simply smirked and noded to her question relating to his wand holster and tunic. She then procedded to wonder if they had traveled back in time. Justin crossed his arms and thought about it for a second before voicing his next anwser. "Well," he said, "I reckon we are. Couldn't tell you exactly though." He said with a frown. Actually, if truth be told he'd never really thought about what era it was here. All he know was is was WAY back in the day... sort of... MERLIN! This was all so confusing.

Once Cecilia had sat down beside him. Justin handed her some of the bread and meat, which she began to eat hungrily. He two began to have a bite to eat. It was then that she inquired quietly as to where there were. He was distracted by his bread, but when she shrieked, he looked toward her. "Blimey! Didn't I tell you yet?" He said leaning away for a second, fearing another fit of shrieks. But after thinking about it, he realised he'd been rather.. avoiding direct explination. He sighed and put his hand on her shoulder. He inhaled deeply.

"By aslan. Alright, so. This is Narnia. We're in a completely different world from our own. You and I aren't the only ones from Hogwarts here. There are loads of other students here as well. We've been staying at a castle. The castle Cair Paravel, the home of the rulers of this country. A few of us older ones even put some protcetive charms on it. As far as we know, there aren't any teachers here, and time here progressed somehow differently than back in our world. This world, like I said, is vastly Different. It has different magical creatures, and most of the animals talk. It's a good place Cecilia, but You should also know..." he paused a minute to give her a chance to take in everything he had just laid into her mind. "Voldemort and his death eaters are here too."

Cecilia had to hand it to Justin; he stuck with her through her strange moods. People rarely did; yet he didn't seem to be running for the hills. Or lowlands really, since they were on a hill. For that Cecilia was immensely grateful. She knew she could be a handful at times. She felt herself scowl when he gave her a very vague answer as to his clothing. She wanted to push him for a areal answer, but decided against it. She didn't want to antagonize him since he was her life preserver at the moment. So she just ate. The bread and meat had run out way too fast. Cecilia felt hungrier than before. She supposed it wasn't real hunger, just anxiety hunger. She eyed Justin's food and sighed unhappily. Visions of Hogwarts' feasts swam before her eyes. She closed them and leaned back. Damn it. As Justin decided to finally answer her question, she opened one eye and cocked her head to the side.

Cecilia listened to Justin explanation with rapt attention. The brunette found herself shaking her head vigorously, and tears began to well up in her eyes again. No. This wasn't happening. This was wrong. When he finished, she let out a long sigh and wiped her eyes again. "So what you're saying is that we're in a different dimension with no way to get back and You Know Who is here, bent on killing everyone, or at least take over?" she said dully. She shook her head again. "This is just so messed up."

But as everything began to slowly sink in, she realized that she shouldn't fight this. Fate clearly had a good reason for doing all this, so she should just go with the flow right? But a pang of homesickness hit Cecilia and she felt herself start to cry again. It was no use crying though. Tears wouldn't take her back. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes again. When she opened them, she felt like she had accepted the fact that she was stuck here, in "Narnia". And now she wanted to know more about it. "Justin, tell me everything about this... world please. " Cecilia asked finally.

Justin listened to her summary of what he had just told her and nodded. "Yup, sounds about right." He said popping the last bit of bread and meat into his mouth. He raised his eyebrows and agreed completely with her statement of this being 'so messed up.' "mhmm!!" he mumbled, adding in another big nod. He swallowed his food, then opened the canteen of water, thirstily downing half of it, and handing the rest to Cecilia. "Drink up Parker. You should keep hydrated." He said with a nod.

Justin waited for a bit before speaking again.. or rather. being spoken to. She seemed to have really accepted the fact of the matter, that she was here, at least for now, to stay. At her question however, Justin raised an eyebrow and thought about where he should start. He stood up and brushed himself off, holding a hand out for her, to help her up. "I'll tell you anything you like. But, well. Seeing as how You-know-who is here, somewhere lurking about, we shouldprobably head back to Cair Paravel. Oh, that's the castle we're staying at." He said with a nod. It was probably the best idea. Get to the safety of the castle, and then explain all her could. That way, he could also show her around, and maybe introduce her to some Narnians or something while he was at it....

Cecilia accepted the canteen with a grateful nod. She peered inside it, half hoping it was Butterbeer or pumpkin juice, but nope, just water. Though you'd never be able to tell from the way Justin had chugged it. She quickly finished off the last of the water and looked up at him. She was grateful to him for taking care of her, and she tried to convey that silently.

Cecilia grabbed Justin's hand and pulled herself up. "You make it sound like he's going to jump out at us from behind a bush or something." she said chuckled, then quickly shut up. You weren't supposed to joke about things like that; it was frowned upon at Hogwarts. But this wasn't Hogwarts... The last part of Justin's sentence finally sunk in. Cecilia felt herself go numb with excitement. "A castle? We're staying at a castle? Does that mean there's going to be like, a king there? A human king?" Cecilia felt like she had to toss that last part in. She didn't want to be walking around thinking the king was a talking lion when he was a human or vice versa. But still, the Gryffindor girl was excited. Not about staying the castle (uh hello? what was Hogwarts?) but about the prospect of meeting royalty. It had always been a dream of hers.

ooc: lulz. it's totally cool.

bic::
Justin raised his eyebrows for a milisecond while she thirstily drank the water after looking into it.. maybe to check what it was?Inwardly, he chuckled about it. Once she had finished she gave him a look. It didn't take a mind reader, or an expression knower, to know that she was grateful to him for.. something. The water.. or probably the food? Or, just helping her here in general? 'Yep. The last one', he decided, giving her a 'no problem' sort of smile in return.

Justin's face turned serious for a moment. You-Know-Who, was not someone you could, or should for that matter, joke about. He shrugged it off when she caught her self. Plus, she did sort of have a point. Who Voldemort do something like what she had suggested? He doubted it very much. Justin chuckled. "No, I guess you're right about that but..." he trailed off. "Still."

Justin chuckled again at her excitedment after he had helped her up.. "Yup, and it I reckon it beats Hogwarts in a few areas hands down." He told her with a grin. To her next question he smirked. "Oh, they're human alright." He said matter of factly, stepping to her side and holding out his arm. "Have you got your wand, and everything else you came with?" He asked, gesturing for her to take his arm. He wasn't sure whether or not she'd apperated before so maybe he should warn her what they were about to do? It was a common fact that most people. Vomited after the first time. For Justin, it wasn't until his first apperation over a great distance, that his stomach really disagreed with it. After that? It was sort of a breeze. You know, once you got past the squeezing sort of feelings you got.....

"Oh, by the way." he told her, "We'll be apperating, and, just to warn you, it's not that pleasent if you;re not used to it so be ready for anything."

Cecilia grinned as a warm fuzzy feeling spread over her. Okay, so Narnia would be like a vacation... A vacation with talking animals and Voldemort, but still, a vacation. She felt it a bit relived when Justin said the monarchs were human. It would have been awkward curtseying to a bunny or something like that. She checked her bag and frowned when she realized that her Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook was missing. Oh well. As if she was going to study in Narnia. "I'm good, let's go."

She grabbed his arm and felt her stomach knot up. So they were going to apperate. She'd heard horror stories of really awful splinching and people losing their limbs permanently, in addition to the regular nausea and dizziness. Cecilia squeezed Justin's arm to a point just below intense pain and shut her eyes. It would be easier that way. "I'm ready" she managed to croak. The ground spun beneath her and suddenly she wished she hadn't eaten so much. Oh bother.

    "I'm good, let's go."

"Brilliant." Justin said as Cecilia grabbed onto him. He glanced over at her and chuckled to himself at her secondary thought about grip. Splinching stories must have just went through her mind, but Justin thought it better to stay off the negitive subjects for her sake. Justin looked away again and cleared his throat.

"I'm ready" she told him, he nodded, and felt he didn't need to tell her to hold on, as her grip was already a vise around his arm. Now, Justin made extra sure he focused on the task at hand. Destination: arrival courtyard. Determination, he had it. Deliberation: he spun them around and they were off.

[ooc: refer to arrival courtyard for rest of thread!!! <3]
