Rowan wasn't really up for becoming a knight. But it was what was expected from him because of the fact that his father was a loyal knight of the kingdom when he was young and health. Rowan would much rather be traveling and studying. He's not much of a fighter to begin with. He got faint at the sight of blood and had no aim at all. He was a good swordsman. But he was never good under pressure. But when he was chosen to go on the journey to find the princess he was relieved. It involved no fighting. Or if all turned out right. The only thing that went wrong on his trip was the fact that he got lost. He had never been one for direction and when he stopped at a river to get some water. He ended up losing the group. He really had no clue where he was. Maybe he wasn't cut out to be a traveling. He was also relived to get away from the prince. He had never been fond of the prince or the king. He found that they were both... well he couldn't Really insult them because he might get into some deep trouble. But he doesn't like them. At all.
