Hi all,

Who is up for flying this Saturday?

Options seem to be:
1) Single Hill (sea breeze)
2) Towing at Valley field (Thermal predictor is indicating some good thermals)
3) Eagle Hawk Neck (a bit of a long shot)
4) Tunbridge

What do people thinK?

Sea breeze forecast Sat and Sun. Looks like it could favour Single Hill, if not the dunes will be on. Im looking to fly late on Sat and Sun afternoon.

Count me in for Saturday. If it is dead south we may have a look at Bellerive beach.
I have looked at the wind forecast on BoM web and tomorrow may be good for Eaglehawk Neck (5pm) but will join you wherever you decide to fly.
Look forward to get into the air. cheers Mico biggrin.gif

Hi Stephen, I can't make it this weekend due to work . Can someone ask Warren what is happening at Winton . I will be around the west coast of Tassie out of phone range .
Dave is keen to fly winton for his first few flights back in the air and I would be keen to get there myself just because it is a good place to sort gear out with the easy take off and Landing areas.

Hi Hugo,

Winton is drying out but the creek bed has been washed out and is impassable. The owners are currently discussed how best to remedy that. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will be sorted and Winton will be open for the rest of the season.

Cheers

Stephen
