NEWS- Current goings on in the Gig Factory camp
BANDS- This is the main thing right...all the bands on gig factory will be on the site with links to there own websites
GIG REVIEWS- simple really...we review gigs, signed bands,unsigned bands...
DEMO REVIEWS- thats an obvious one really...
MULTIMEDIA- Were gonna sort out direct links to gig factory bands, songs and have them on the site
INTERVIEWS- With unsigned bands and signed bands, hopefully Stalefish1, Beecher, Everytime i die and Sick of it all... *fingers crossed*
FORUM- This one...but it's getting another makeover...
A SPECIAL SURPRISE- Don't ask...but bribes of chocolate and juice are greatfully accepted

NOW...This is where you lot come in...
To make this site a nation wide succes i.e. having every unsigned band in the Uk on here, having a great forum community and be THE place where labels will search for talent. (were ambitious...) WE NEED YOU.

BUT we don't just want you to spam our link everywhere but we do want to have people come visit us! if you can help promote this site with us it will be better for everybody concerned! We are not making any money with this...that is not our aim! were just two students with far to much time on our hands and a love for music!

Gig Factory

Do you have any intention of putting on Gig Factory Gigs?
Getting a few bands together from the gig factory community like once a month and hiring a venue a kicking the living shit out of it.
It's always a good way to promote, as alot of people ignore spam links but if they have been to a good show i.e : Gig Factory presents etc... then theres probably more of a chance of word of mouth in greater numbers, but I guess that's all down to good bands signing up to the dates and good promotion. Maybe 1 known band to draw the crowds in and a few unknowns (so to speak) completing the bill?
Just an idea.

the idea has been flung about quite a bit in the last few days, the main thing is to bolster the gig factory roster so that there will be more bands to arrange something with!
the site sould be up soon to, so that will have details of shows! obbviously it will be difficult for us to hand out fliers down in Essex or somewhere so i'm arranging a deal to get proper fliers made up, so they can be sent to the headlining band of such an event and they can do the local promotion! its in the development stage right now, where i'm trying to figure out how to finance stuff like gigs,etc...

I agree it's not something to rush into especially where money is involved and that it well need a good amount of people involved to make it work as unfortunatley the " If you flier it, they will come" just isn't true these days unless theres a buzz about the bands involved. Shame but true.

thats true, the gig factory needs to...*forgive the cheese...* become a household name...the first place people think of when they think of unsigned bands! it will happen! we have people all over the Uk already to help us out so eventually there will be gig factory sponserd tours, showcase's and were working on other *top-secret* stuff! haha!

Ive been talkin to a few bands over here tryin to get them to link the site, they all said cool so.... its just a matter of when they take there finger out What about makin our own Tshirts and wear them when we are all playin gigs, I always try and wear a bands t-shirt on stage, like one of my friends or what ever???? Just a thought... cause if your walkin round b4 / after the gig ppl will see the name..... blah bnlah blah....... u knopw know what im shittin about.... hahaha

haha! well we have thought about stuff like stickers,t-shirts and other bits and bobs...but once again it all comes down to money! We should try to get folk to wear gig factory t-shirts all over the world and have a photo on the site to prove it!haha!
