Ok, so this is pretty basic. Read the rules, follow 'em, and we should all have a good time.
GENERAL RULES
1. No God-moding, power-playing, and all that wonderful nonsense that ticks people off.
2. No chat-speak. I don't want to see any 'u's and 'ur's in the actual boards. Type the words out. If you want to use it in the OOC boards, that's fine, even though it is slightly annoying.
3. No killing another person's character without their permission.
4. This is a mature board. Therefore, swearing and adult situations are allowed. However, if your board gets a bit heated and you feel the need to go 'mattress dancing', so to speak, you must let an admin know so that we can put an (M) in the title to give people a warning.
5. That being said, if it gets to the point where the admin find that there are too many mature rps going on, we will be forced to put a limit on it. We want you guys to have fun, please don't make us be the bad guys.
6. When registering, please use your character's name as your user name. It makes things easier and less confusing.
7. Also, you are allowed more than one character, but you must have a different account for each of them.
8. Please keep the OOC in the OOC boards. If it's something pertaining the rp that you're in, that's fine, but other than that it's a major no-no. We don't want it cluttering up the boards.
9. You must post a character profile in the 'character applications' board before beginning to rp with your character, and you must wait for one of the admin to approve or deny it. If we deny it, we'll try to give you constructive criticism on what you could do to make it better and possibly be accepted. Don't whine, don't be rude, we're not trying to make your life unbearable, we're trying to make our site the best that it can be.
10. The minimum post length is 200 words.
11. This site is classified as a semi-advanced/advanced rp, and as such I want to see good sentence structure, proper grammar and spelling, and interesting posts. We can understand if you don't have much to post, but try to keep to the two-paragraph rule. If you're stuck, elaborate on your surroundings (use all 5 senses, for example), or write about what your character is thinking at that moment. I have faith in you.
12. The administrators of this forum reserve the right to edit and revise these rules as we see fit.
13. We do not tolerate flaming. Yes, people have bad days, but if you come onto this board and start verbally abusing the admin or your fellow players you will be banned, no ifs, ands, or buts.
14. In order to be considered active on this site you must post, in character, at least twice a week. If you don't, and you haven't posted a note in the absences board, then your profile will be moved to the inactive board and put on hold.
Graphics Rules
1. All avatars must be 150 X150
2. Signatures can be at the maximum of 400 X 100
3. It goes without saying that images must be in good taste. All images that do not meet requirements will be deleted with notice.
