It has been at least an hour or two, and the group had gotten no where with the project. Hell, they couldn't even come up with a way to work the damn thing. They had gone over countless ways, but everyone seemed to want something different. Isaac put his head in his hands and grumbled slightly. Shannon was lounging back with her arms outstretched and her legs crossed. Her foot moved lightly as if she was tapping it in midair. Any other man would be all over her, but Isaac was simply having too much of a headache to even care to look at the blond.

Shannon sighed and stood quickly and put her hands on her hips. She looked over the group of friends and pursed her lips, "Well, I think it's time for a break." She headed over to the kitchen area and began to rummage around the fridge. She stared aimlessly at her hand and sighed. Her hands felt a little naked. Perhaps, when the others left she would go out and get something sparkly. A thin grin came to her lips, and she gave a slight chuckle.

Isaac lifted his head from his hands and gave a deep sigh of relief when Shannon suggested a break. He seemed to just slip from the couch and unto the floor. One of the girls giggled, "Good lord, Isaac. What is wrong with you?" Isaac rolled his eyes and sat up. He placed his hands between his legs which were outstretched. He had been thinking of the speech since he had arrived, and frankly, he was starting to get a headache. He yawned and watched Shannon. She giggled. "What's so funny?"

Shannon tensed slightly. What the hell was she supposed to say? She couldn't possibly say that she was thinking about stealing later. She quickly grabbed a jug of juice and turned around, "Umm," She turned to the cabinet and grab as many glasses as she could, "What...do you guys think about that crazy man on the T.V. from earlier?" She gave a shrug that, frankly, made her look a bit ditsy.

One of the boys, Jake, quickly stood up and pointed a finger at Shannon, "That crazy guy is an honored judge!" The girl that had giggled at Isaac earlier, Kristen, frowned and crossed her arms. "Was it really necessary to yell?" The boy turned to her, "Yes, it sort of was. I think it's disgraceful that people don't even know who serves them in politics, and I think that he made a great decision. Those freaks need to be put down like dogs." At this Kristen jumped to her feet, "Well, I think that they are humans too, so you just need to get over yourself, and besides, you heard him some even fight crime." They both began yelling about what side they were on.

Isaac's headache increased. It was good to know at least one of their friends was on his side, but it was clear from Jake's reaction that he could never reveal exactly who he was. Shannon strode over, "Come on, now. I didn't mean to start an argument. Let's cool off...." Her words were lost in the argument and only served as another aggravation for Isaac. He kneaded his temples and finally, something inside of him snapped. He yelled at the top of his lungs, "Will you guys just stop!" He threw up his hands just as all the people turned to look at them.

All of his friends stopped dead in their tracks, frozen in time. Isaac knew what was actually going on. He had stopped their molecules from vibrating, but it made it seem like he did stop time. "Oh fuck..." A small whisper escaped his lips and he smack himself in the head. how could he be so stupid and allow this to happen. He growled slightly, but could feel that the molecules were beginning to move slightly once more. He placed himself back in position and tried to make his face look the same.

His friends began to move again. Kristen and Jake both apologized for aggravating Isaac, but Shannon had a curiosity sparking in her eye. Wasn't Isaac's hand turned the other way just a second ago, and where did that big red hand print on his forehead come from? Was it just a trick of light or something else..?

ooc: This occurs after the first post. Took a while to get myself organized.

bic:

Amy Teren was not nervous.
She was ready.
Standing in front of the mass of people, notebook and pen in hand, hair pulled back into a professional-looking bun, eyes on the empty podium. In mere moments, the Judge would address them. He would tell them what was going to be done about the recently discovered problem of the so-called "Superhuman Condition." She knew that his words would present a barrier to her, personally, considering the fact that she was one of the 'problem.' And not the nice, loveable, bunnies-and-hearts version, either. But all that didn't matter. Why should it? She hadn't been discovered before, and she wouldn't be discovered now. She'd been reporting for only three years, but she had already managed to figure out that whatever the government was promising the people, it was mostly for show. Sure, they'd have some sort of special police on the job. But what kind of super-villian would be unlucky enough to lose to a small, pointless human with a big gun? The idea was nearly laughable.

Her train of thought was interrupted by the arrival of the Judge. Slowly, he walked to the podium, flanked by muscular, black-suited bodyguards. His long, black robe was hemmed with dust, and he stared out at the crowd with suprisingly intense brown eyes. His shockingly white facial hair only caused his pale face to appear even more sallow and zombie-like. As much as Amy hated the man, she had to admit: she respected him. The way he was always solid and unmoving in his beliefs. The way he addressed the crowd with certainty, and how he could build up enthusiasm in people while wearing an unchancing expression of bored finality.

As the man gestured for the attention of the crowd, Amy prepared to write. Her pen was poised above the blank white sheet of paper, and her eyes stared up at the Judge with undisguised interest. Though she had been expecting the sudden rush of silence that followed his arrival, it still suprised her, and she was tempted to look back at the faces behind her, to read the expressions they might hold. Biting her lip, she forced herself to concentrate, scribbling quickly as he spoke.

He finished his address in mere minutes, but to Amy, it felt like hours had passed. Was the government serious? She, herself, could not be called a hero, but there were others who possessed powers as well, and they were unbelievably talented at "rounding up the bad guys," so to speak. They were a miracle to society - a light in the darkness of man-made despair. Who were the Judge, the politicians, to decide that all of their little "superhumans" were a threat?
Realizing how contradictory she was being to herself, Amy cleared her mind of emotion. She was unbiased, simply a reporter with a story. And what a story it would be. She'd be sure to present both sides, just to create a little contraversy, she decided. The judge had disappeared into the depths of building behind him, replacing the wall between himself and the public that had been breached for the few, breif minutes of his speech. Amy turned, hurrying off to her small hotel room. She'd have the article printed up and faxed back to New York in no time.

The cop's voice reached Sheffer's ears, a large groan escaping his lungs. Why did he have to get the cop that was too thickheaded to notice that he had stopped this guy in the first place?

"Now see what you've gotten me into pal?" he whispered to the thief, taking a glance back. The cop had her gun raised to the back of his head, looking quite threatening. Sheffer obviously felt no fear, having faced this situation before.

"Do you really have to put that thing up to my face?" he asked the cop, turning around.

"Just put the boy down, and I'll see if I still need to," she replied, keeping the pistol steady.

Sheffer sighed, slowly moving the thug onto the ground, beginning to speak. "You know what's a pain in the ass?" he began, dropping the teen above the ground only by a few inches, forcing him to land awkwardly. "Every single cop in this city having to threaten you just because you tried to help."

He began to walk towards Janice, a small frown on his face. "Do you guys have some code, that you, and only you, can stop crime, and not let the citizens be the heroes for once?"

"I advise you to stop coming towards me!" she answered, pointing the pistol at his forehead.

"For the love of..." he muttered, concentrating slightly. Time immediatelly slowed, and Janice remained somewhat frozen in front of him. Lifting an arm, he swiped the gun out of her hands, no resistance coming from her. He immediately unloaded the gun, letting the bullets drop down to the concrete below.

Letting time return to its normal beat, he watched as a look of surprise appeared on her face, her eyes looking blankly at her empty hands.

"Please don't raise this thing at me again," he stated flatly, forcing the pistol back into her hands. "Because I'm really not in the mood."

With that, Sheffer whipped around, heading for the sidewalk. All he wanted was to put this behind him, but he knew Janice would most likely retaliate. He prepared his powers once more, just in case...

The main chamber was surprisingly well-lit for what it was used for. Once, it was a hindu temple, evidenced by tattered tapestries and dusty, broken idols. It's new inhabitants didn't even bother to remove them, despite their status as the cult, Chapel of Darkstar. A number of robed figures sat on the floor of the central hall. They were all facing a raised platform, on which the remains of a contorted idol stood. Momentarily, a robed man entered, the group bowing down, followed by a man in a silver mask.

"My friends," the robed man began, "People like us, people with power greater than mortal men, have always had to live hiding their power from the world. Now, one of the world has made it his mission to remove us, the masters of this world, from it entirely," at this, Judge Halman's speech began to play, reverberating off the walls. His words stirred up anger from the group in the hall, some shouting back at the voice.

Judge Halman's speech concluded, and Kudakeru continued, "What should our response to such a man be?" he asked rhetorically, "Violence against such a man will only motivate his allies and prove his ideals. However, such action is just. I will go and show this man what he is calling upon himself, with his declaration of genocide."

The group cheered, "Hail, Lord Abbadon! Bring justice to the anathema!" Kudakeru smiled, as the silver-masked man turned to the broken idol. Momentarily, a rippling mirror-like surface stretched across the ornate ring of flame. Stepping onto the idol's podium, Kudakeru vanished through the silvery portal, the broken idol vanishing before him.

After Kudakeru left, the man in the silver mask turned to the group, "We here will gather those who are not, to aid our leader, Lord Abbadon. The mortals will learn to fear us."

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Houstan, Texas

"Sorry," Azure whispered calmly into the elder couples ears. He hated having to stun people to steal their food, but he wasn't that graceful. He knew without a doubt in his heart that they could hear him, and that they could register what he was saying, but they'd have trouble doing anything about it. "I'm just so hungry," he said and wandered towards the kitchen.

"I come to you today to inform you all of a conflict that has only surfaced recently. It is a conflict that was unforeseen, and previously thought to be found only in works of fiction and fantasy. I come to tell you all that the problem is very real. More real than any of us can possibly imagine," the couple had been watching TV, and Azure could clearly hear everything that was said. He grabbed an apple and walked back into their living room. The boy took a bite of it as he calmly listened to the whole speech.

"He's talking about me," he said calmly. "My little escapade in the Senate caused quite a stir." He shrugged, and leaned against the sofa. "Sorry I had to get you guys involved. Once again, though, I have no money and I need to eat. I promise I wont take more than I need." This was ridiculous he was justifying his actions to a stunned couple. He got up and walked to the kitchen again, and started to make himself a sandwhich. Halman got off his high horse at the end of his speech and left.

He had a habbit of talking to the people he stole from. "Masks," Azure said with a laugh. "Everyone wears one," he said walking to the woman and he took a bite of the sandwhich.

"Your mailbox says that you're Mrs. Kitsen, and I'm sure you have a rather dull life. Bowling and book club is probably your definition of action. Your minds never really could wrap around the fact that superhumans exist. To tell you the truth I didn't either. Then I found out I was a God, funny huh? How could someone like me turn out to be a God?" he took another bite. Their bread was going stale, but the ham was still fresh, their cheese was so delicious. "I know, I didn't believe it either," Azure said pulling away from her and looking at the man.

Mr. Kitsen was a large, squat man with judging eyes and slowly graying hair. The perfect contrast to his overly tall woman, with gracing eyes, and blond hair. "You know who told me? Dogs. That's right, dogs. I thought I was going crazy until I could start controlling lightning. Feh, it's not my lifestory, though," he pushed his black hair out of his face. "You two should be paralyzed for a little while but I'm gonna keep talking to you guys for a little bit."

He finished his sandwhich and apple. "I wonder how you two met," he walked over to the refridgerator again. "Mutual friends, love at first sight," Azure calmly laughed as he reached in and grabbed a banana. "This Judge Halman," he said peeling it and walked into their living room. "Do you think he's married? I don't, he seems like an extremely religious nut. I wonder why he chose superhumans to begin his crusade. Humans are so interesting, they fear what they don't understand." He shrugged and walked over to their mantle.

Pictures of people, "This your son?" he said lifting a picture of boy who had just entered the military. He had a shaven head, and piercing blue eyes. "He's kind of cute," Azure said facing them. "Oh sorry," he said noticing the crusifix behind them. "I didn't mean to offend your religion," he said bowing slightly. "I have nothing but respect for people of faith," he shrugged.

Texas was a lot less interesting than he hoped. At least with Halman's crusade people wouldn't be looking for him in particular. "So," he said sitting in between them. The man started to move again, "Sorry," he said again zapping him slightly. He decided not to test it and zapped the woman again. "I can't have you two running around. That should give me a good twenty-four hour head start. Provided your kid doesn't come home," he got up. "Sorry for the trouble I've imposed on you two," he said again. He grabbed the package of ham, and put it in his jean pockets.

Azure saw a shopping list hanging on the wall, and on it he wrote ham and bread. He walked out of the house, and saw that thankfully no one was out there. He started walking towards the East. He decided that New York was probably more interesting than Texas. Especially now. He stuffed a thank you note in the Kitsen's mailbox. Two dogs walked around the corner, and he threw a couple pieces of ham for them. The dogs thanked him, and he nodded. The dogs started to follow him. "What coming all the way to New York with me?" Azure said patting one on the head.

The dogs left after about a mile or two after getting the scent of something. Azure decided to try his luck at hitch-hiking, he stuck out his thumb and changed his hair color to a blond hoping that nobody would recognize him that way.

A man, dressed in strange outlandish white clothing stepped up to the small shop in Newark, Pennstation. He got many odd looks from the people around him, but he didn't pay any mind. He ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a hash brown and a bottle of coke. He paid for it with what little money he had left in his traveling funds.

It was about time to try and do some odd jobs again for some spare cash.

He munched on his sandwich, trying to ignore the bums who he was just a few twenties from being just as financially secure.

He looked to a television set up in the corner of the shop that was displaying news, to try and focus on something else. It was some kind of address to the nation. It was just a distraction at first, but when he realized what it was about he paid more attention.

By the time it was done, he felt more aware of the stares he was getting.

He quickly finished his sandwich and threw out the wrapper as he left the shop. He took a swig of his coke bottle and moved up to a platform, didn't matter which one, any.

He walked down the platform, feeling nervous because of the speech he just saw. He glanced up at a screen that displayed the next train's destination. 'New York Pennstation,' he read. The stares weren't more than usual, but they bothered him more so because of what he just heard. 'When he describes what we do like that, it really sounds bad...' he thought to himself.

When the train arrived he got on, even though he had no ticket. He move from car to car until he saw one of the ticket collectors he stopped in the small space in between the cars.

He waited until the train conductor was collecting tickets in the seats closer to him, until he created a portal of white light in front of him. He stepped through coming outside a second portal on the other side of the car, on the walkway between the it and the next.

Now all he had to do was wait till the train conductor moved on to the next car, and then he could take a seat. They wouldn't check the same train car twice after one stop.

Meanwhile in a Manhattan airport

Camera’s can be friends and enemies depending on who you are. In Axl’s case, they’re enemies. They captured him killing everyone in that building, they captured him walking into the airport and buying a one way ticket to Manhattan. A few hours later Axl walked off the plane and into the airport terminal where he was greeted by a huge group of cops. “Well I don’t think you’re all here to see my card tricks” he said in his childish tone of voice. They closed in on him, the read him his rights and cuffed him. They lead him to a squad car and chucked him into the back seat, his deck of cards lay on the seat beside him.

They took off to the station only to have trouble keeping Axl still; of course Axl was trying to get at his cards. The cops drove awkwardly as they fought to keep Axl away from his cards, the radio came on and some cops requested reinforcements on the outskirts of Manhattan. Some pale guy had killed four officers and was heading towards the city. The cops fought with Axl as they drove to help keep the pale guy at bay.

((This is for the speech part of the plot!))

Some where in Washington D.C

It was all too easy! Or so it seemed,
The end of the City Dog Show was over in seconds and Indiana had earned one hundred thirty smacaroons! ‘Half of it will go to the bills at the apartment…’ she thought as she placed the dripping piece of cloth over her nose and tossed it over her shoulder in her favorite fashion. As she walked down the street ignoring the stairs and rude comments from people who had something to say, she didn’t care! Indy was a happy seventeen year old. Her eyes gleamed happily in the sun, and everything seemed to be in harmony, the way the sun glared off the buildings, the cloudless sky and the smell of the street and cars rushing by and people babbling about random things, the smell of pizza and of course the honking and the dinging from trolleys. Wouldn’t you feel this way if you had just finished a busy day of arguing with dogs and there Handlers? Course you would! The fresh air would send you into a happy mood.

She had just happened to pass a Star Bucks with a TV. Something on the screen caught Indiana’s attention, the White House, which was actually white. A bald man stood behind a podium and was speaking out to America.
Walking into the store Indy was trans-fixed on the Judge and here is what she caught of his little speech:
“-e superhuman condition is a problem that we must all face together. We must face it with courage, and we must face it with dignity. Together, as a people, as a nation, we can stop this menace before it threatens to destroy the fabric of our society. As long as I am standing, I will keep this epidemic to our world contained!...”

“The Superhuman condition?” It was outrageous …how could someone thinks so lowly of people like that? SHE was one of those ‘Superhumans’ and she knew it. How many people can talk to dogs and levitate things with there minds!?! “Psh…Its crazy I think…there are no people like that in our world…it’s all black magic they use…” turning to counter lady Indiana gave her a questionable look, “Why would you think that?” her accent was light when she spoke. “Because, you don’t see people flying around, or shooting star-bolts from there hands, or have lazer vision around D.C. That’s why it’s crazy! It will only start up a debate and a house divided can not stand you know…!!” Indy nodded with interest, “It’s nice to hear your point of view…” nodding a good-bye Indiana left the store. Once she was a few blocks from it she took off running down the street to get to her apartment and ask her father if he had seen the news and what she should do.

Langley Airforce Base-

If Reis had known the sheer amount of paperwork involved in keeping tabs on the merely the confirmed cases of supers and masks in the States alone she probably would have conned James out of more than his fifth of scotch before agreeing to the task. She hadn't even made a dent in reading the files when Judge Halman made his speech. It was a damn fool thing to do. Did the man realize what he was doing? Declaring outright war on beings like her would only leave them four options.

The smart ones would hide. The dumb ones would act as if nothing had changed. The really dumb ones would use it as an excuse to cause mayhem. But the really smart ones would band together and dare anyone to come after them. Reis could only wonder how long it would be before the dumb and really dumb started crawling out of the woodwork. Two hours seventeen minutes later she recieved a brief on a Canadian man killing a building full of people with nothing but a deck of cards and had her answer.

Manhatten, Police Headquarters-

"You have to understand Agent Sivitri, the officers are responding to reports of four officers down and a superpowered perp!" cried the balding fat man who just happened to be the chief of police.

"I understand that the unit also had, in custody, a superpowered mass murderer. Don't you think its just a tad bit irresponsible for them to be responding to that call BEFORE delivering the prisoner?" Reis countered, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"The NSA may have doubts about the abilities of my officers but I have every faith that my men will have both of these unsavory individuals here within the hour!"

"Then that makes you a bigger idiot than I had you pegged for, chief. When this goes sour I'm going to see to it that you and your gang of morons take the fall for loosing a mass murderer - If any of you are still alive."

Reis raised a single finger and continued her verbal assault. "You've got exactly one hour, uno, to get this Alexander Creed into my custody before I make your life hell. Capishe?"

Not bothering to wait for a responce Reis pocketed both her very real NSA credentials and her not so real extradition order and stormed from the room.

The chief waited until she was gone before he let out a half sigh, half sob. "Shit," he muttered to the empty office.

~Jacob's room, Los Angeles, California~

I do not believe such things as this should be so. Any man who believes himself to be worthy enough to take justice into his own hands is committing a very crime himself. This is our problem today. It is the superhuman condition, and it is plaguing our nation faster than most of us could register. They can do things that no normal human being should be able to do. These self-professed "Superhumans" can do such things as burn metal to liquid, play with our minds, and kill others with but a touch. They are a danger to our society, no, a danger to our world. They are a disease that must be wiped out!

Jacob grumbled and lifted himself from his bed. He stood over to the television and switched it off. The honorable judge unnerved him, but he shrugged it off. The words that rang through his mind were the words that some of the Superhumans would kill for no reason. He frowned and lay back down. His eyes dodged up towards the ceiling and rolled his eyes.

Staring up at hie ceiling, Jacob sighed. He didn't think that he would kill anyone, but he didn't doubt that other people like himself would actually retaliate to such an open threat for war. A slight pang came to his chest, and he could sense a darkness rising from the east. He frowned. If others like him would use their powers to kill, then he would have to stop them

He jumped from his bed and waved his hand slightly over his head. A veil of turquoise flames covered his entire body. The veil disappeared along with the boy. He would stop this evil no matter what the cost.

Somewhere in West Virginia

Azure was surprised at how well of time he was making. The day had yet to pass and he was in West Virginia. Now he was staring at a map, he just had to get through Pennsylvania and then he'd be in New York.

The first person who picked him up back in Houston had taken him to Arkansas and gave him a couple bucks to pay for something to eat. He was a nice man, and Azure was going to miss that driver in particular. The next people to pick him up was a family of four, in a Station Wagon. They had set Azure in the front seat while the mother sat in the back with her children, the father had kept driving. They dropped him off about halfway through Arkansas and money to pay for the bus.

Azure had spent the last three states riding in a bus, and the end of the line was West Virginia. He didn't have enough money to pay for the bus that went to New York so it looked like he was back to hitch-hiking. First though he stopped in a small resteraunt, and took a seat in the booth. The waitress, a strawberry blond woman, came up. "What'll it be, hun?" she said her voice thick with the accent of the South. Azure wasn't aware that West Virginia was in the South but he shrugged. He ordered a cheeseburger, and water. He hadn't eaten real food since the Ham ran out in Arkansas and he was starving. She took his order back and then flicked on the news.

"-officers were taken down without a single mark on them. They had apparently all died of anthrax spore inhalation. No official word on if this has anything to do with the man who was captured from Canada who had killed an entire office building. Only one question remains: Was Halman right? Back to you John." the reporter said. The waitress shook her head in disgust.

"It's the end of the world," she said calmly. "God must have come down to judge us." Azure stifled laughter. "What's so funny?" she said.

"Nothing," Azure said. She didn't seem to agree, but walked off and brought him his cheeseburger. The resteraunt started to crowd, and four large gentlemen came in each holding some form of a gun. "Fuck," Azure swore under his breath, as he looked back up at the news.

"-Texas couple reported that the boy who stormed the Senate stole their food and some valuables. Official reports say that the boy entered their house and then with a touch stunned them, for those of you who don't know what the this person looks like, here's a picture. He is considered armed and dangerous." and of course they had an acurate picture of Azure. His eyes immediately shot down to his food. The four big men seemed to have recognized him. They were drunk, and that much was obvious from the scent that came with them sitting down next to him.

"Hey now, that's you son," the man closest to him said, holding his gun close to Azure. It was almost pitiful how little Azure cared about the weapon pointed at his chest. The other drunks laughed slightly, the waitress came by and took their orders. She didn't realize that Azure was one of the "Most Dangerous Superhumans". The boy took a bite of his burger and chose to ignore the drunks. "Well, you don't have a whole lot of respect for your elders," the first man spat.

"No offence, but you don't have any respect either. It's not very polite to come in and sit down at a table that's currently taken," Azure said calmly. "And to hold a gun to a fifteen year old's chest isn't too bright on your part either." The drunk didn't take too kindly to that, in fact he got up and pointed the gun straight to the boy's head. The other's got up, and had their guns ready. "You didn't think this one through did you? Think about, I can summon lightning. Your gun is basically one big lightning rod to me. Look at the news as of right now," he didn't care if they did or not. He took a bite out of his burger.

"And now for the official warning, the Top 3 Superhumans," some big fat man was on screen. He had some charisma and was probably a wonderful reporter, but right now Azure didn't care. "The number one is a man that looks like this," a chalky white man appeared on the screen with the words "ARTIST RENDITION" below it. "He's considered armed and extremely dangerous. Reports say that he can create clouds of dust and if anyone touches it they suffocate. Next is this man," a somewhat attractive man appeared in a flash on the screen. "He is no longer in custody. Armed and very dangerous. Finally we have Azure Krynn." Azure's picture flashed on screen. "He can summon lightning, and is considered very dangerous. If you see any of these three men, please report immediately to the police. Approach with extreme caution." and with that the news ended with it's catchy little jingle.

"Now," Azure said getting up throwing down the cash he had on the table. "Whatever's left you can take for a tip," he said calmly to the waitress. Dogs were barking outside. "How fun," Azure said calmly. "You even brought me an army." He gripped the front of the first man's barrel. For the first time in a long time, Azure was going to have some fun with these people. Small bursts of electricty shot through, he watched the man start to pull the trigger. He dropped low, ripping the gun out of his hand. The first man fell being totally paralyzed. Azure quickly ripped out the bullets of the shotgun. It was a bit shorter than he would've liked but he could deal with it.

He spun past the second man who took a shot, using his legs to sweep across him. The man tripped over the spin, and Azure quickly popped up and shoved the barrel of the gun into the stomach of the third. A smile crossed his lips as he shot electricity through. He fell over backwards, and the fourth man was taking aim. Azure used the gun as a javalin and sent if flying towards the fourth man. It hit him square in the head sending him flying backwards a shot was fired and blew a hole in the roof. He spun to the second man, "Boo!" The man dropped his gun, and ran out of the door. Azure smiled, "They're not dead but they'll be paralyzed for a while." He grabbed the keys out of the first man's jacket pocket.

"Can't have someone drunk behind the wheel can we?" he said and took the keys and found the pickup. He got in and started to drive. He started to drive quickly, and followed all the signs. He ditched the car outside of New York. Then walked calmly into the city, and disappeared amoung the crowds.

Tokyo, Japan

"There's nothing to this. We go in, and then we come out." a sun-glasses wearing, greasy haired man said in Japanese, with a pump-action shotgun in his hand. He directed men beside him on the street, and they took little time in running into the bank ahead, guns armed and ready.

The leader of this specific group figured they would have more than enough time till the police arrived on the scene. All they needed to do was empty everything, and their getaway vehicle waited right outside the bank. It was an easy job, and as long as they didn't kill anyone, they could pull it off quite easily.

"Everyone down on the ground!" the sun-glasses wearing leader shouted, his shotgun blasting upwards and causing part of the bank ceiling to crack apart. People shrieked in panic, and they almost instantly obliged to the robber's orders, getting down on the ground with their hands on their heads.

"Empty everything!" he commanded, and his men listened. After a few minutes of them stuffing yen into duffel bags, they nodded to their leader, who motioned for them to make their exit.

When the men had gotten outside, they found themselves face to face with a sight that they did not expect. Something that these Yakuza men could certainly be afraid of.

A titanic lizard-like beast was in front of them, teeth crunching against what looked like metal. It was an orange color, and covered in scales. Its claws looked like they were cracking the sidewalk underneath. Beside this creature, the getaway van that the robbers intended to use to escape was a twisted wreck of metal. The driver had already gotten out long before the creature had reached the car, and he'd gone screaming down the street.

"What the hell?" one of the Yakuza gangsters said, looking up at this towering monster as it bared its teeth at him. In the distance, the men could hear sirens, but they seemed to be backing away in fear of this massive creature.

"Freeze!" one of the cops said as he exited his squad car, and it wasn't long till the gangsters were surronded by the police. They looked at each other in confusion, before dropping their guns on the ground. When their leader looked up, he saw that the massive kaiju had just disappeared. He wondered if he was going crazy as the police came to apprehend him and his men.

In the distance, a teenage boy wearing a large shirt depicting the silhoutte of a giant monster was already walking off. His hands were in his pockets, and his greasy black hair nearly covered his glasses. As he looked back to see the criminals surronded, he smiled.

"That'll teach them. Kaiju Kid serves justice once again..."

New York, New York
Scarlet sat in her office looking over papers. Divorce cases are so sad, especially for the children. She thought to herself. A song came on the radio she was listening to and she started to hum the song when it stopped all of a sudden. "Dang, liked that song. Stupid service annoucement." Scarlet mumbeled.

Scarlet found herself staring into space. The radio messege had stunned her. I dont know whether or not to take this seriously... She thought blowing it off. Then she got a call to her office. "Scarlet your needs in Mr. Johnsons office." Scarlet got up and breathed deeply and left her office.

Scarlet dominated where ever she went. She carried that almost royal aire. That she was in charge. Which she wasnt, something she was soon going to be reminded of. She continued down the halls of the company of her employment. The head boss had called her down, a promotion, she knew it. She worked at it for months. Scarlet made it to her bosses office. She took in a deep breath and opened the door.

Scarlet stared at her boss in horror she knew it. They cant fire me for this! ITS UNETHICAL UN MORAL! Im going to fight this tooth and nail. She thought controling the urge to kill the man right then and there. Which surprised her. "You...you can't fire me because. Im...im a super human!" Scarlet said pounding her fists on the mans desk. "Well actually we can, the goverement says so. Its completely legal." The man in front of her said leaning back in his chair calm as ever. Not even careing that any second Scarlet could impale him dead. Scarlet regained her compsure and stood up. "Well then. Be ready, a storm is coming." She said not really sure what it ment but hoping to scare him. "Whatever you say Scarlet. You'll be in jail soon, your a menace." The boss said hardly moving. Scarlet's fist clenched. Dont kill him. After all youve done for this company for HIS company. Dont kill him. Scarlet thought repeating this silently to herself. She walked out the door and down the elevator, silent. Not even bothering to clean out her desk. It contained treasures of her former life. Yes, she would leave it there. She left the building silently, no word to anyone. She hailed a taxi and went home. Oh yes, a storm was coming.

Scarlet opened the door of her aparment. Looking around, she had no clue where to go next. She stood there for awhile. Then decided her course of action. She quickly called the airport and bought on ticket to DC leaving tonight. She quickly packed, turned off the light and closed the door. She locked the door, she doubted shed be back. An hour later she boarded a flight to DC. They would know who she was soon enough.

~past~
It has been a long tradition of the Himalayan tribes to make offerings to the mountains, and they will be protected by the gods. The gifts are said to please the gods, but little did the people of the mountains know that the tradition started during the era in which super natural abilities ruled, and the people that possessed these abilities made full use of them. They demanded sacrifice and offering in order for the people of the mountains to be protected from others who possessed gifts and also themselves.

The Crone was one of the few that declared herself as a god, but she was not recognized as such because she only served the ones that controlled the mountains and their people. The Superhuman’s had only been reigning for a little over a hundred years when there was a revolt by other Superhumans that disagreed with the greed of those that called themselves gods. During this revolt, the Crone was captured and forced into an ancient tomb said to be able to contain evil for well over a few millennia.

The Crone could have easily escaped, but she decided to stay within the tomb and dormant. Left without anyone to follow and without anyone to control, she decided to stay with in the tomb.

~present~
The earth rumbled and the reverberation increased the noise throughout the mountain valleys. The villagers of a nearby valley looked up to the sky and trembled. They fled to their homes and hid where ever they could.

A single stone door was the source of the rumbling. Dust poured off the door and gathered at it’s base. The rumbling continued for a few minutes and abruptly stopped. The door burst into a swirl of sand and became a swirling whirlwind. An old woman stepped forth into the cyclone. Her gray hair was strewn about and her features were strikingly strong: intimidating, piercing, and fierce. The dust settled around her, and she looked up at the sky.

“The world is changing, and the powers are growing once more. The world will come to it’s knees or flourish. The gods are now called SuperHumans, and it is time for me to awaken.” Her voice was smooth , but cracked with age in places that required emphasis. The old woman’s tattered robes flapped in the breeze.

“Crone” The sand swirled around her and disappeared with the woman.

Jaden Phearal sighed, picking up the tv remote from the side table and started flipping channels. One of the 14 Teenage girls on the bed nuzzled into his bare chest, wimpering like a dog. She wanted more of his personal narcotic. He sighed seizzing her roughly by the throat, and pressing his lips to hers, a quick slip of the tounge, she writhed and cried out as Jaden pushed her back down into the seething pile of females, all delightedly intoxicated by his venom, whom lay in random places cuddled up to him form his ribs down.
All pretty, model-esque but not in an eating disorder kind of way.
All adicted to his venom.
He raised the remote toward the television again when something told him it was a bad idea to do so.
"Were comming to you, live from a beach in New York, New York, where what seems to be a super human, has crashed a boat into the nearby shore and..."
The camera turned to scpan the beach, there was a girl sitting in the sand who immediately caught his attention, it zoomed in on the girl hugging a teddy bear close to her body and looking tired before moving to rest upon a chalky skinned, green eyed guy who seemed to be searching for something.
'Son of a bitch, what the hell?!' he thought "thah... tha-is my... THAT WAS MY FUCKING SISTER!!!" he hissed at the TV sitting up on his knees, disreguarding the enslaved girls who tumbled to the ground and moaned, purely from being displaced from his touch.
They didn't care if he were to torture them, rape them, kill them, so long as they got their fix all was perfect in their world.
Good thing he wasn't that kind of guy.
"Livie-love...." He purred into the ear of a red haired girl resting at the bottom of the large bed. "Oh... Livie-love... I've got a job for you my dear..." Olivia breathed a content sigh, turning to face him "I need to get to New York, New York Asap... you give me the means, my rich little princess, and I will give you a taste of my most potent." Olivias eyes danced and she grinned greedily and even wider than she had been. "My precious little gems," he announced adressing the girls, "soon, I take my leave and possibly may not return... those who wish to perrish in the arms of true extacey come to me. All those but Olivia that is."
One by one each of the thirteen girls chose pleasure over their own life until only a somewhat jealous, fatigued looking Olivia remained.
"Let's go Jade, my private jet should be prepared to leave once we arrive."
"Wasting no time,"
he mused, "Good girl. Perhaps if you are true to your word, and we manage to be swift enough I might give you further reward my gem" Jade took the teens hand, pushing a bit of energy into her system since she looked like she might fall asleep where she stood. She would do him no good unconcious. "Lets hurry now livie-love... tic toc..."
