Your song is ending, sir.

A hand reaches out, finds a silver ring in the grass. All that remains of a once-mighty ruler. One year passes. The ring is found again, worn by a woman with no memory of greatness, and through her evil is brought forth once more.

It is returning.

In the depths of space, a ship happens upon a strange vessel. A woman sleeps within, a survivor, awakening after a century adrift. Her people are all but gone now, and she must seek out the only other left in the universe.

It is returning through the dark.

The man who can never die and the people he lives for. They lie in wait for the one he loves to return, but find two others first. A woman flying a bus, and a man through the space-time rift who carries a warning. Something is coming.

And then, Doctor...

Suspended in the vortex, a lonely angel hears it - four drumbeats, the sound of salvation and destruction both. And in that instant he knows. He is not alone.

He will knock four times.
