This is the board's basic canon list. There are obviously specific site canons that we also have, and although there are guides to which face claim you could use, if you're having problems, then feel free to use your own. If we've missed off anyone from any of the different sections, that doesn't mean that they're not available - just that we might have accidentally forgotten them! Have fun!

` THE CANON FAQ .

1. The character I want to play isn’t on this canon list, but he/she really is a canon!

That’s probably me accidentally leaving someone off the list! Just to make sure, drop me a PM – maybe they’re not there for a reason. Still, it’s probably my memory, so as long as it’s reasonable, hey, go ahead!

2. There’s only a few members of Torchwood and none at all for UNIT! Do you not like them?

I’ve put up the canon members for Torchwood, but I’m more than happy for all of them to be your own, non-canon creations!

3. So, are there some Time Lords you’ve missed off the list that I can go and play, then?

If you can play a Time Lord convincingly, and talk to the staff about it, maybe. There’s no promises here.

4. The Taem'in are a weirdy race I've never heard of, but I like the look of them. Why is there only a handful of canons?

The Taem'in are an alien race created by yours truly - and we would like as many as possible! The canons here are obviously important, but your own, unique takes on the species would be amazing. So, original Taem'in characters are fantastic! For more about them, please have a look [ HERE ].

5. How long do I even get my reserve for?

We keep characters reserved for 72 hours – three days! That should be more than enough time to get everything together!

6. What if something comes up, and I can’t finish a character in three days, then?

We’re not an unreasonable lot! Just PM one of the staff, and we can extend the reservation for you. Just don’t keep doing it, eh? You’ve gotta have enough time for the character you want to play!

Hopefully that should cover the main questions! PM me if you’re still unsure about anything. Now, onto how you should claim a canon of your very own!

Want to reserve a character? Just quote the details of the character that you want from the above post, and reply to this thread. Stick your name underneath, and then the character’s all yours!

Again, for fairness’ sake, you have three days to post an application form, or the reservation will be dropped. This gives everyone an equal opportunity to have the character that they want to play.
