so, this is the second time i've typed this b/c the other one deleted itself...grr
since a lot of people will be using their x-mas money to pay for this, so people can get an idea of how much they need to save, i'm gonna go ahead and estimate some of the costs and due dates
so, i'm guessing there's gonna be 2 rooms:
Rashida's:
1) Rashida 2) Trent 3) Mitch not sure if thats right or how many people are going, but this is just an estimate
Alissa's:
1) Alissa 2) Robert 2) Melissa 4) Charneice 5) Adolfo 6) Pepe (jose i think) not sure if thats right or all the people or whatever...
so, i think it would be best if we got the rooms next to each other since the adams mark is huger than the hilton...so, we kinda need to get the money in on time so rashida can reserve them together (if she's willing to do that)
COSTS: everything except the badge costs i don't know about for rashida's room people, so this stuff mainly i guess just applies to my room
Hotel:
since they haven't put up new rates for the hotel rooms, just assume that this is an estimate until we have more info (they shouldn't be that much higher, maybe 10 bucks a night more if anything)
so, 149 a night * 2 = 298 + 15% tax = 343 divided by 6 people =
approximately 60 bucks a person
Transportation: considering that its about a 525 miles round trip and if a car gets 20 miles a gallon, it should take like 27 gallons, times 3 bucks a gallon = 80 bucks,
i think we should all just chip in 15 bucks to the person driving for gas and wear and tear on the car
Parking:
considering that parking should be about 10-15 dollars a day at a reasonable lot, i think we should all just chip in 5 bucks to the person thats driving
Badge:
badges after december 1st will be 35.00 per person
so, 35 minus the 15% group discount = 29.75 dollars per person
Food:
i'm thinking we should just do like we did for oni and just all bring various things instead of chipping in money
ESTIMATED TOTAL COSTS:
Hotel: $60 Transportation: $15 Parking: $5 Badge: $30
Total costs per person excluding spending money (for my room at least) should be about: $110 per person
with new announcements of updated badge or hotel rates, this post will be amended, however, the price per person should not rise above $125 per person...
ESTIMATED DUE DATES:
Hotel: money due by Jan 31st. Badge: money due by Feb 28th. Transportation and Parking money will be given directly prior to departure...

Wow uh a little early to planning for something all the way in Late May/Early June. And from this list is implying, most of this is past off assumption as far as who is staying in what room. I'd wait until people have actually said who they're rooming off until you jump to conclusions. Unless people already have then thats a different story. Just my two cents.

o.o Wow, this is too early for me since I do not get x-mas money at all. My family never gives money during x-mas, they give gifts.
O_o so yeah, I don't think I'm going to be paying for June 31 at all....

well, i know most of the people on the list have said that they were going, so i just kind of assumed they would be in about the same rooms...but if that changes, then thats fine...its a little early, but its better to go ahead and get things down so we have something to reference to...
i guess if the dates are too early that we could change, but beware that hotel rooms book fast and then we get stuck in the overflow hotel that is further away, so...
whoever wants to stay in dallas, i consider that a seperate thing, so as far as devon was concerned, i was gonna leave sunday as well, as are most people...
