OoC Rules
o1.There will be a satisfactory level of respect to all admin and members alike, and you musn't use any curse words out of character if directed at another user.
o2.Even if you're not posting in character you will not be using any form of chatspeak. Literacy is only real if it's used outside character, too.
o3.You must be active, and by active I expect at least four posts a week. Do not hold up a roleplay, and if you know you'll be going then don't start any new or major threads.
o4. Do not beg, spam or complain like a crying baby on my forum, please. If you think we're doing things wrong then be polite about it. I can block your IP adress by the click of a button.

Roleplay Rules
o1. There will be no meta gaming, no powerplaying, no godmodeling or any Sues. Any of these will be deleted on sight.
o2. No wolfspeak. Period. I'm serious; do not use made-up words like 'femme' or 'fea' on Starryfield, and do not use the word 'brute' to replace the word 'male'.
o3. Each in-character post much have a minimum of two paragraphs. Four sentences per paragraph, or two long and complex sentances. 'Sheila walked to the stream. She had a refreshing drink' is not one paragraph.
o4. Starryfield is a fully realistic wolf roleplay site when it comes to your characters' appearance and abilities. However, there may be some paranormal-related plots flying about. No character may have jewlery or pink eyes. Blue eyes are not accepted.
o5. If your characters are unorigional you will be declined. There will be no 'pure white wolf' or 'jet black wolf' untill I say. A 'mainly white with beige on his back' wolf is also considered pure white, here. You may not create a massive wolf of over 36" shoulder height unless permission by me is granted. Teeny-tiny wolves aren't liked here, either.
o6. Graphic breeding/birthing is not allowed, because wolves don't have sex like humans. They most probably don't grunt with pleasure. The male mounts the female then he gets off. This is all we need to know.
o7. Blood and gore is loved and allowed to any extenct. Swearing in character is also allowed.
o8. You may kill another users' character without their permission. In circumstances such as; you are an adult and you wish to teach a wolf a lesson my murdering the pups, if you're in a fight and the opposing wolf has allowed you to pin them down then you have full power. Alphas may kill all and any offspring. However, this does not mean you can stroll to someone's wolf and snap their neck in half. this would be powerplaying, which is against the rules.
o9. Personal plots are encouraged. Please make a character log in which you have a journal by our character, and keep a list of all their relatonships there, also.
1o. You may not roleplay untill your application has been moved to the accepted characters' thread.

Account Rules
o1. Your account will be your characters first name, only, in lowercase. So, it would not be; Bob or BOB, but it'd be bob. Surnames are not to be accepted in the account name.
o2. Each character has his/her own account, so s/he can have his/her own rank in whatever pack, etc.

Thread Rules
o1. If a thread is private, put [p] in the topic description. If it is mature(blood and gore only, remember), then put [m] in the topic description. If it is open, use [aw] for all welcome. Please do not decorate your topic's title with semi-colons, asterics and all that, because when the topic is being viewed it'll look horrible.
o2. Introduction posts should be at least three paragraphs.
o3. Take turns to post. If there are three roleplayers, then it'd go in the same order. Example; Bob posts, then Amanda, then George. Bob. Amanda. George. If someone else joins, then it'll be the same order, only after Geroge it'll be whoever else joined.

Mating Related
o1. Like Stale Souls, we do not do puppy request forms. Instead, if an administrator comes across a mating board you may or may not get your wolf pregnant. So you always have a risk of getting pregnant, just like in real life.
o2. No whores/pimps. We will be roleplaying wolves, which only go into heat during winter and very early spring. Mating all-year-round is strictly forbidden, and constantly mating in hopes of getting a litter means you will not earn any pups.
o3. Wolves tend to be in one long-lasting relationship with their mates only. So, 'cheating' wolves should be kept to a minimum.
o4. Before you declare someone your mate you must be in at least three full and ended threads with them. Love doesn't happen at first sight.
