The darkest hour that man kind could have ever anticipated has fallen upon us all. There is nothing left to the lands. Burned and destroyed land and villages, and broken homes with few to almost no survivors to carry on their own family's legacies seems to be all that is left to our times. There are no children playing, and laughing, running about in their games that they play with one another of ball and the sort, instead the hide in the shadows, fearing in the creaking sound of their own mother's footsteps approaching them. Is this how we are meant to live? In fear? Never knowing when the next strike will occur, or where it will occur from? Is there nothing that can save us? It is all a hopeless cause? I, for one, and sick and tired of seeing a youkai's jaws around the body of our youth, crunching their long sharp teeth into the flesh and claiming a soul that wasn't their right to take in the first place. What will it take to fix this? Why do we hide in the shadows still? Why do I hide in the shadows? Well, not anymore. I, for one, will take the step into the mouth of the beast, and I will exit with the honor of my people, defending them or dying trying to. I won't live another second, watching them die like this. What about you? Will you join me and fight the youkai, or cower and hide in fear?
