The land is snowing men! Well, no, it isn't, but slowly the snow begins to pile, soft and crystal-like and all, very, very cold. About -12 degrees celcius.

Winds whipped around like a cord flowing over everything, the promise of rain lingered in the scent of the air. Trees swayed with the winds temperament, rattling their branches in anger. Or so it seemed, some thing was wrong on the lands this day. But you couldn't tell if you where sleeping deeply, the howling that filtered through the trees branches sounded like a moaning creature. Or as some had said, ghosts. Neither where believable, though all the same sound was some thing important for the wolves survival.
Large paws carried the canine forward, strong legs held up a lean muscular structure. As he moved silently through the terrain. Lightly colored eyes gleamed dully as he looked up to observe his surroundings.
The temperature in between cold and cool, where it's just getting unpleasant and your breath comes in white puffs, but you don't want to complain because you know it's only going to get worse and you don't want to jinx it. It's strange how we always worry that being outwardly grateful that every thing's not terrible will make the good thing end. The breeze added to the chill of the air, and when it blew the clouds away the sun mercifully warmed. But the sun's visitations were brief and few, so just as you truly began to get warm the clouds swept in and you felt the impact immediately.
Fur bristled slightly, teeth bared for no apparent reason, paws picked their way slowly and carefully over the terrain which he had not often traveled, despite the multiple years he had spent in this territory. Still, stealth and grace came naturally to the male. Ears twisted and he came to a sudden halt. His tail swaying slowly with the breeze and he lowered himself towards the ground. Several paw steps ahead of him was a brown coated rabbit who appeared to be struggling against the wind.
Pitiful...
Came his sudden thoughts but due to the weather he already knew chances of catching the clumsy rabbit where slim. As he inched forward he felt the wind hit him from a different direction. A chill rushed up his spin and his eyes narrowed, widened slightly and he stared at the rabbit who reared up on its hinds. It could smell him now...
Damn wind.
Pushing himself high from the ground the rabbit locked up in horror. Predator and prey. They made eye contact for what seemed to be eternity. Until the rabbit came to its senses and took off before Marick could touch the ground. Landing with a thud he glared angrily as the small mammal ran off and lowered his ears. A growl in frustration slipped past his black lips as he aimessly began to walk around.
Damn rabbit.

Unlike this male she watched, kehadra was sharp-minded and when it came to not blowing her cover she was much more skilled. She stood, her hind legs apart to hive her more power, her right forepaw lifted cautiously off the ground, ready for an attack, an escape and a friendly conversation. A brown-coated, grasy-haired rabbit dashed passed her and her honeycomb eyes wandered to it's fright, and her eyes fell on a rather large, white-and-brown male wolf. Finally, Kehadra had someone to talk to!
Her eyes were steady on him as he panted slightly, stopping after his clumsy attack, before coming from the trees she stood in. Two steps, pause, paw off the ground, and repeat. She did this while she kpet her head low, indicating she was no threat. Body language was everything, and Kehadra knew this all too well.
Her pupils face up as she never took them from the other, cautious as hell. She was kind of paranoid when it came to meeting other characters; she needed to make sure that she looked perfectly friendly and non-threatening. She was a little bit of a freak, but soon after she was much more relaxed.
After the male did not attack her randomly, her head slowly rose, her paw still hoverng above the soft soil. She quite liked this position; it made her feel that whwatever was to come or to happen she has the upper hand and advantage, and she felt as though she was hunting in the dark, and she'd made a noise and her prey had seen her. The adrenaline rushed through her and towards the end of her head-lifting her skull jerked up. Wow, that must've looked stupid.
"Kehadra," she blurted suddenly, and after realizing her name probably made no sense to him, she continued to say, "M-my name. it's Kehadra. Pleased to meet you." She then offered a nice smile and the bob of her head.
She suddenly wanted to rush to him and play, like a pup, but she fought back the idea of looking like a stupid child. So she stay put, awaiting his response. All four paws now stood firmly in the earth as her eyes fixated on his. Was he feral or friendly?

She saw his sneer. She ignored his sneer. this was kehadra. A simply, crazy gal who could be smart and down-to-earth or out-of-this-world stupid. But, usually, the latter was not her. Now, however, it was. And, honestly, at that moment in time, she couldn't care less.
"Marick," she repeated, rollng the name on her tongue. "Nice name, Marrick," Kehadra complimented. She gave out compliments like how others gave out hate. She always thought that this cruddy world needed more love, anyway. No wonder this land was so well known; wolvies died like rats and flies in this horrible land. She needed to spread some hapiness and create smiles. That was her job.
Well, no, it wasn't. Kehadra, like most wolves, did not have a 'job'. Only alphas have jobs, and that'd be to run a pack and have babies for the pack. What a wonderful job, she thought, giggling inwardly. And this whole insane and random conversation played in her head in under five seconds. Ah, the wonders of the human, uh, I mean, wolf mind.
After a monotonous ten seconds of nattering away with herself, she looked once more over Marick. he was rather handsome, wasn't he? Oh, silly Kehadra, she'd be regretting these thoughts tomorrow morning, she knew it. "You're a little clumsy, so when you hunt you want someone agile like me. Don't worry, I'll be nice and let you make the killing bite and eat first. Aren't I a dime? Come."
And she she danced around him, her tail rubbing against his nose, her flank touching his, and then she ran off to wherever she could find small and easy game. If he didn't follow then that'd be a big waste of adrenalin.

So on she paced, just plain running in no particular direction. Tap, tap, tap, hew paws landing and lifting from the ground in the Shazz Forest. Run, run, run, the soft breeze now a harsh winds de-tangling her long, soft hairs. her long claws made small holes in the earth each time she pushed off, showing her path as she snaked in and out the trees, and soon enough, she caught scent, slowed down and began to trot.
Her nose pressed on the ground, old and weary tracks of a juvenille deer. She would never find a hoofed animal in such a dense forest, and the scent was decaying. he'd definentally moved to another part of Starryfield, but this didn't bring down her mood. She turned to look at Marick who was thankfully following behind her.
"I have a trail, but it's old. However, I'm hungry and I guess you are, too." She suddenly sounded very serious. "We can try tracking it for the next few days, if it's still alive. if not we can get the remains of a bear's kill or something. I haven't had much to eat in a long while and I think it's about time I ate."
Adrenaline still ran high through her body, her muscles quivering as she did not move. She wished to pace after this herbivore and get to it as soon as she possibly could, but she knew that if it still lived she most likeley would have all odds stacked against her in the huint, and so she would waste even more energy.
Besides, due to the wil;dfire there was little grass for the beasts to graze upon, and every creature she found to eat was well worth chasing, because Lord knew when the next would be found.

My pitiful attempt of a table. Lul.

White and brown paws meet the ground in dull silence. Ears came back catching the faint scent of the young stag she had also smelt. A small, harmless growl escaped from his vocals as he slowed his pace into a trot coming up beside her. His tail swayed slowly from side to side listening to her options she was giving. Not that he thought about it he wanted something to eat, now. And despite stealing something would be both risky and difficult he was up for it. But would Kehadra be?
"With the little amount of food i've seen around here, the things probably dead at this point. At least I think so. Honestly I think the two of us can put our heads together, come up with some strategy and snatch something from under some bears nose."
He growled. Stealing from bears wasn't something he did often. But he knew that if they were going to be successful they'd have to be quick about it. Very quick at that...

Kehadra waited patiently for Marick's response. Almost all her energy and adrenaline had faded up 'till now, because she knew that this would be yet another dead-end hunt added to her list. The lack of prey around made it almost impossible for kehadra to find enough food to fill her belly, which weakened her. When she found a fair meal it was always young, which meant there would be no more to eat if all the wolves hunted babies.
She sighed. "No," she paused; this was were she would normally out Marick's name but she'd forgotten it allready. "You and I both know we won't find any food. Not today, at least. We're in a forest, so we don't have the best of chance, anyway. I'm going to leave now, and if you come with me it'll increase both our chances of finding something in the future - hopefully the near future."
Her chocolate eyes had wandered away but just after the words came from her mouth they plummeted into Marick's. He was a very handsome male, and although she felt no read attrecton to him she wished that she could hurry up and mate with him so she had pups and a pack, and a higher chance of finding something to eat.
Kehadra felt a sudden pain in her abdomen, as if someone had just stabbed her and was wrenching the knife around. The hunger cramp was horrible, but she had no choice except to put it aside and hope something would heal the wound. So with a horrible rip she teared her eyes from Marick, turned around and began to slowly walk in the other direction.
