I would go for pokemon because the show, the games, and even the toys can be both meant for the males and females.

As for digimon...everything seems like it's meant for young kiddish boys...the theme songs are even not of my type.

Pokemon has complete own-age on Digimon because it's more popular and better...
Pokemon was made before Digimon....so Digimon is just a ripoff....

:0 i really like digimon and its not really a ripoff in my eyes :X.. I dunno i just have a secret love for digimon for sum reason ;b...

digimon is for boys actually :X. Wiki says it kinda like a guy version of Tamagochi
and pokemon is kinda kiddish too <- just saying. I'm being a little bias cause mai friend pretty much worships pokemon which drives me crazy ><"
