Because I'm such a nice guy, I'm going to post a little (hopefully) helpful message about how to validate your account, if your having trouble.

Normally, once you've made your account the email you typed in is sent an email, containing info from Star Wars Online and a link you need to click on to finish the validation. After you've clicked on the link, you should then be able to log in as a full member.

HOWEVER, usually validation problems happen before then. What usually happens is the users email service will filter out the email as a SPAM email. Most of the time, you will need to search your spam box to find the message. Simply move the email from the spam box into your inbox and proceed normally.

Some email accounts are set up to automatically delete spam as soon as it is received. If this is the case for your email service, you will need to find your spam filter settings and change it so that it does not block messages from Star Wars Online, you may need a direct IP address, of the server. If this is the case, PM one of the staff.

Occasionally the servers will have trouble communicating, and the email may take longer than normal to send (sometimes it will take about 3 days depending on the service you use). In rare cases, the two servers will refuse to communicate and you will need to manually validate your account. In order to do so follow these steps:

-1. Log in to your unvalidated account and post a topic HERE in the validation help sub-forum, with a topic title such as "Please Validate my Account".

-2 Wait patiently for a staff member to take action. As soon as they have time, they can validate your account manually and fix the problem.

-3 If a staff member does not get to your topic (too busy, didn't notice, etc...) don't worry, try PMing one of them STAFF LIST hopefully they'll be able to reply and validate you.


That's it! Then you'll be able to enjoy this forum to its fullest as a full member! :D
