Daniel Janis reporting for Duty, sirs! One first class starship pilot at your service.

Just to be absolutely sure.....the Endeavour Mission to Andromeda was aborted and the ship returned home? Speaking of the Endie.....Pete...couldn't I have gotten past Lieutenant in the time it took you and Carlos to make Commodore and Annie to make Captain? <lmao> I know...just a dream sequence. Just hope I'm not destined to end up like Harry Kim.

Anyway.....any standards for bios and what not? Can you provide some dates please? Such as when the Endeavour returned......there's a 3 year difference between the last entry on my Endie bio and the current year here....so I'll need to come up with some fill in stuff, I'd assume.

Lastly...glad to be here.

-Dan

Welcome Danny - you are MOST definetly welcome here! :)

So to answer your questions in order -

Yes, the Endeavour (and her crew) returned. To be frank, we dont dwell on this issue too much for obvious reasons. But essentially the crew returned to the Alpha Quadrant around 2385. You will only have been back several months before the start of this sim.

As for bio's, that will be coming shortly. For now, you can focus on your first post (which can detail any vital info you want to reveal anyway).

Remember to spread the word to as many as possible about the new site - we hope you are the first of many members :)

Once more, welcome to the sim Danny :)

1 LOVE

Xortha Boll reporting in! This looks like an exciting project, however I wasn't sure which of my erstwhile characters to use.

Depends on what you most want.

I also have Nirla Rhyssa the Bajoran counsellor, Dr Ailsa Fiddler, Dr Fiamma Wilde and I own the deceased Marisha Kudet.

I'm most knowledgeable about biological/medical stuff but willing to learn.

In terms of rank, are you allowing people to carry over what they had from the Endie?

If I want to play more than one character is that allowed? (presumably not under one member name?)

From me and Peter both, welcome :)

In answer to your questions....

Whatever characters you wish to use is up to you - be they old Star Trek: Endeavour or new. Since poor Kudet has left us...sniff....it's probally not a good idea to include her in that though - this sim is a direct continuation of Endeavour after all.

Rank will be carried over from that sim if you DO reprise a character though - as we have already seen from Janis.

More than one character is indeed fine...and seperate ID's for each is no problem - not to mention less confusing.

It's always best to focus on your strengths - so if that's science, then by all means :)

Once again Xortha, welcome :)

Okay... So welcome to Senoc and Annie also, oooh I'm getting excited now to see us all regrouping. Annie glad to see you got your account sorted, cos I knew you were coming I took the liberty of pre-registering you. However I don't think its such a great option really so I won't be doing it again, but at least you're here now ;). You're welcome to bring any of your other character's aboard as well, but as I stated we don't have an actualf Fighter wing here, and as the specs show not an awful lot of auxillary craft, but if you can find something for them to do its the more the merrier.

Senoc its great to see you too, if you want it, the Counselling XO position is yours to take. Annie is the chief Counsellor, but I've spoken to her about performing a large part of the command duties as well, so I think they'll be a lot more for you to as a counsellor here than there was before. Let me know and I'll have your rank pip's sent out to you.

Petey.

Yay! Hey, all... good to see everyone here.

I'll set up a separate accounts for separate characters (I also have medical, engineering, ops, and science characters if you need them) as needed. I've already had a request for one of them, so I'll go set up an account for that one now.

So, I guess I'm all set to start posting IC as Annie, then?

Nice site guys! Glad I could be here.

One question for now before I head off to work. Do we retain the same rank we had on the Endie here? I'll have to check the other threads after work.
