This seems like a nice place... certainly a bunch of well-known producers milling around in there... so I figured I'd link it in case anyone else feels the occasional urge to hob-knob with your co-equals from other productions.

What I also found interesting is that two production companies that I know of are now having "conference calls" via the internet. I participated in one from Pendant Productions on Thursday night and another from Misfits Audio on Friday night. Granted I had to download another software package to participate in Pendant's conference call (Gizmo Project), but it did get me in touch with some of the loonies there. For Misfits, I used Skype. Hopefully it'll get me noticed a bit (I actually enjoy doing this!) so that I'll be used by them as a voice actor.

Well you've certainly been doing a fine job with us! Seriously, I can't imagine a more difficult acting challenge than reading lines cold with no one to interact with. I've been extremely impressed with how well all of our cast members have improved their delivery and overall performances. Good luck!

I'm really impressed with this new audio forum so far with an amazing cross section of members. Many obviously already know each other but it's great to bring it out in the open.

My only problem, it's so busy I can't keep up at the moment...

That's the thing that's been impressing me too. The more episodes we do, the better we've been getting at sounding natural together, even though we've never even been in the same room laugh.gif

If you haven't already you might want to check out our pilot episode. While I don't consider it embarrassing in any way, shape or form it does give you some perspective on how we got to where we are. There are definitely some rough edges there that gradually got smoothed out over each episode, although of course some of the credit for the illusion does have to go to the technical wizards of the post-production crew *ahem*.... biggrin.gif

BTW welcome aboard and thank you for the kind words!

Thanks for the welcome, and I may actually be a part of that post production team and help do some of that magic ...Lord willing and if I am as good as I think I am!!! laugh.gif

I have listened to all the episodes, and listening with a critical ear, yeah you can pick things up, but I am telling you, you guys are good. And no, I am not only sucking up in hopes of being able to help on the show!

Happy new year.

I promise, Blues: as soon as the episode's out, I'll catch up on my email backlog and get you set up! biggrin.gif

Oh, by the way, as long as I'm online and you all promise not to tell anybody, the episode is in final compilation. It will be up by Monday evening... if not earlier.

Mwahahahaha!

Oh... sorry.
