Ive been puzzeling over something for past few months. Several times the "Sword of Damocles" has come up in the story line and ive been wondering, does the Sword of Damocles mentioned in the podcast have a connection to the Star Trek Titan book bearing the same title?

Since James is writing the scripts I'll defer to him for the official answer. However, my guess is that it's simply a coincidence.

By the way, welcome aboard!

Good question. No, there's no relation. I only read the first three Titan books, and figured nothing could be better than Orion's Hounds, so I stopped. I never found out what Titan meant by the SoD, except of course the obvious literary reference. Our Sword of Damocles was conceived a few months before that book was announced, so there's absolutely no relation. If anything, Titan stole it from us. tongue.gif

Thanks for listening -- and for asking!

Keahi could you be little more specific about the problem you're having? Chances are you're not the only person with that problem and if we can correct it, it might help more people enjoy the show!

Many thanks for your input. This is exactly the kind of feedback we need! smile.gif
(Compliments are always welcome of course!)

You find that surprising? lol. I was amazed when my old site found its way onto google.

If you're wanting feedback I have a few friends who listen too, they might have something to say.

Please do! For some reason a lot of folks seem to feel the forum is for staff and cast only. We want everyone who listens to Excelsior to be part of the forum. Everyone's opinions and feedback are deeply appreciated!
