Here is a good way to submit an event:

Event Title:
When: (Day, Month Date and Time; Time Zone)
Where: (Planet, Universe #)
[IC] Invitation:

The Event Title always has something to do with the event. Say if you were to have a party at the Tenora Works shop on Moatoob, you could name it "Tenora Party".

As for When, this is in real life terms. Such as if I were to have an event today I'd put this:
Tuesday, August 28 at 10 p,m. MST.
This helps when people make plans.

Now for Where. This one should be obvious. Where does everyone meet up? So, for the event above, the Tenora Party in the pub, you'd put something like this.
Tenora Works, Universe 1

The Purpose/Reason is just to give an idea as to what the mission or event is about (events don't always have to be missions, but they can be). This doesn't have to be outstandingly detailed, just detailed enough. Please try not to make up your own Star Shop mysteries in roleplays though.

Now the optional [IC] Invitation. You can set this up as maybe a letter coming in their mail, a message left on their Visual Phone, or anything else you can think of. This has to be done by your characters only, because you can't roleplay other people's characters. An additional point of the invitation is to show your creative side.

Hopefully this helps.

(I modified this from The Vanguard's one.)
